Question about Kitchen Appliances - Others

Open Question

Rubber seal fell off when cleaning, now I can't work out how to put it back and all my efforts don't stop it leaking.

Nothing is broken. I need a visual of where and how the seal should be put back.

Which hose are we talking about? If you're talking about the small rubber hose at the top center of the door seal, HOW is it leaking? Is there a hole in the hose? Is the door seal itself damaged? Let me know a little more so I can give you the proper advice.

SOURCE: metal ring aroound rubber seal fell off.

Start with the spring at the bottom, work the retainer around until the seal starts to pull away from the washer. Now grip the loop that the spring attaches to on the side that isn't in place and open the retainer. Push the retainer in place and release the spring.

Yes, the o-ring does swell up. I am not really sure what causes that, but the only fix is to replace it. It goes inside the cap. Only use teflon or silicone based lube on it.

Hi,maybe the draw dispencer is damaged,I wouldnt think it is the drum seal, what I would do is tilt the washing machine so that the top of the machine is leaning against the wall so that the front of the machine is of the ground, then while you get underneath the front on the floor with a torch get someone to put water in the dispencer and see if you can see where the water is leaking from,I hope this was some help, all the best.

Your system will have to be cleaned out. Master cylinder and all the caliper cylinders overhauled. Never put anything but brake fluid into the brake system. The seals are all insind the individual cylinders.

I descaled my machine and then cleaned the porta filter. When I remived the portat filter another internal screw came out. When I put them both back in tight I get water or steam leaking out of the porta...

If what you are calling the portafilter is actually the shower filter,( portafilter is what you put the coffee in, shower filter is the one in the group head which is held in by a single screw) then when that second screw fell out it sounds like one or two other things may have fallen out also. To stop water/ steam leaking out the boiler, a small rubber seal and spring seat up in the hole where the water comes out. You need to find them or get new items and fit them to the machine. If not sure, get a parts diagram and you will see what I mean. They are easy to replace.
