SOURCE: bluetooth mouse not working

you can turn off and on the Bluetooth and try it out. If not you might want to check your battery status.
Another option could be to re-pair it to the BT.

SOURCE: Wireless mouse and keyboard not working

If you have got a USB receiver for the wireless keyboard and mouse, then the solution might be with the receiver. Normally we know that to play a USB thumb drive, we simply plug in and play. But some model of Acer computer require us to press the button on the thumb drive to activate it. The model I had (an Aspire model) set the press button same as the blicking light bulb. So (a) turn on computer, (b) plug in thumb drive receiver (c) press button on the drive, (d) press "contact" button on the mouse and keyboard. That works for me.

Touchpad won't scroll

hi there.
this is all i could find.
Why my TouchPad is not working in laptop Acer? Enable/disable your touchpad - Many systems allow you to turn the touchpad On or Off by pressing the FN and F7 keys at the same time. ... Reinstall touchpad drivers - Missing or incorrect drivers may cause your touchpad to not work properly. Check in device manager to make sure your touchpad is reporting properly.27 Oct 2014

Scroll not working on aspire 5720z

Instructions

1

Take a close look at the Acer laptop mouse buttons. Make sure the exterior of the buttons are clean and that there is no grime around the edges and crevasses of the Acer buttons. Dirt on top of the mouse pad can result in slower performance or an unresponsive experience, while grime around the sides of the mouse buttons can cause problems with the pressing and depressing of the mouse.
2

Is there any way your mouse pad has been turned off? Check into this possibility. On an Acer laptop, hitting the "Function" (Fn) key and "F7" on the key board will result in the mouse pad being switched off. Hence, you may have hit this function and your mouse pad may not actually be broken or require any repair. Hitting the "Fn" button and the "F8" key on the Acer keyboard will result in the mouse pad being turned back on again.

3

Click on the "Printers and Other Hardware" option on your PC. This is an alternative method to the above. At this point, examine the menu that comes up and click on the button at the top that reads "Device Settings." You should then see an option to click on your Acer mousepad. Highlight this option and click "OK."
4

Launch your Web browser and go to the official Acer website. The above steps may not have worked, so downloading new drivers for your mouse may be necessary.
5

Select your country of origin, then click on "Support." You will be asked to click on your country again. After you do so, click on the link that says "Drivers and Downloads" on the left sidebar.
6

Select your product line ("Notebooks") as well as your specific Acer computer model, and then hit "Search." Click on the link that says "Touchpad drivers." Your Acer computer may only require new drivers for your mousepad. Download the .exe file and run it to install the contents to your Acer computer.
7

Restart your Acer computer after fully completing the download and installation process. Once the restart process has completed, the driver installation will be complete and your mouse should work again.

Acer Aspire 5102 I've reinstalled win 7 on my acer, and now my touchpad scroll button between left and right buttons don't work.how can i fix that?

Hi! Just head over to this page and select the "Synaptics Pointing Driver" under Drivers and Utilities for Windows Vista. It seems Acer doesnt provide drivers for Windows 7 (possibly because the laptop does not come with it pre-installed) however the Vista ones should work fine. As this is a reinstall, I suggest downloading and installing all the software, at least all of the ones under Drivers and Utilities to ensure that all of your notebook's features function properly.

never let a machine defeat you
you did not say if it is PS 2 or USB mouse?
if PS2 go to MY COMPUTER, PROPERTIES,HARDWARE< DEVICE MGR, scroll down to MOUSE, then PROPERTIES, UNCHECK the box FAST INITIALIZATION
REBOOT. PS 2 mouse should work.
if USB mouse, scroll down to USB ports to see if there are any YELLOW check boxes under USB
this means no device is loaded and USB mouse (or anything else you insert) will not work.
click uninstall, SCAN, and let it reinstall.
try another mouse... hope you get cheese!
