How do you remove the bottom of the blender?

A inexpensive set of security bits from Harbor Freight contains compatible screwdriver heads. There are actually 4 tamper resistant screws- two are hidden under the rear rubber anti-skid pads.

How to remove the funny shaped screws on microwave

ANTI-TAMPER SCREWS
If your model has anti-tamper screws, you can remove them using using a T20H Torx type or GTXH20-100 screwdriver. If the correct tool is not available, there are several ways to remove the screws:

- Use a hammer and a small punch or similar tool to knock out the middle post of the screw, then use a standard T20 Torx bit to remove the screws. (Use safety glasses).

- Insert a small flat-bladed screwdriver (such as a jeweler's type) into the slot between the post and the edge, tap the screwdriver firmly with a hammer to loosen the screw, grip the screwdriver with pliers, and remove the screw.

This detailed photo shows how a small screwdriver fits into the screw head:

- Use a hacksaw or Dremel tool to cut a slot in the head of the screw, then use a flat-bladed screwdriver to remove the screws. (Use safety glasses).

My polan saw will start but boggs when given gas if you pump the throttle it will run at full throttle buy once it idles down it stalls

This is fuel starvation, replace the fuel filter in the tank, check the fuel hose up to the carb for signs of leaks, or cracks, if the carb has no anti tamper screws, screw the L screw out 1/4 turn to richen the mixture, if the carb has anti tamper screws you will need to get the special tool to adjust them.

How to replace t.p.s. 1999 buick century

Takes about 20 minutes. Located on the side of the throttle body and secured with 2 screws that may be 9/32, or a anti tamper torx screw. Unplug, remove screws and slide off. Install new one ensuring tab rests on throttle lever so that it moves when throttle is open. Plug back up, reset ecm. Voila!

Air idle mixture screw on a Carburetor 2006 sportster

The idle mixture screw is on the bottom of the carb behind the float bowl. Unless it has been modified, this screw is covered by an "anti-tamper" plug and you cannot get to it to make an adjustment. If you wish to make it adjustable. You'l have to take the carb off the engine, turn it upside down and drill out the anti-tamper plug. Be very careful doing this or you'll destroy the screw underneath the plug.

Good Luck

MCS 730 error - tamper open. Although tamper is closed.

Bit late I'm afraid but I'm guessing you didn't use the fifth (centre) screw when you fastened the box to the wall. The centre screw is an anti-tamper device and unless you use it you'll get a tamper open error. I know because I've just been there ("it can't possibly need five screws")!

2003 harley softail carb, modle where is the mixture screw and does it have a anti tamper cover do u screw in to richen or out to richen.????????

If your bike is still equipped with the stock Keihen CV carb, there is an IDLE mxture screw but it is covered with an anti-tamper plug unless someone has removed it. If the anti-tamper plug has been removed, you turn the screw inward to lean the IDLE mixture, outward to richen the IDLE mixture. This screw only changes the IDLE mixture and has very little effect on the slow or high speed mixture. This mixture is controlled by jets inside the carb.

You didn't tell me why you wanted to know this information. If you are having a problem with the carb idling either too rich or too lean, you probably have something wrong with the carb that a simple turn of a screw is not going to remedy. The Keihen CV is a good carb and functions well when everything is right. I'm still running one on my 1994 FXDWG with over 30K miles on it and never has minute's trouble with it. If you're having a problem tell me what it is and maybe there's a simple solution for it.

Good Luck
Steve

Carburator needs ajusting with stage 1

Unless the "anti-tamper plug" has been removed that covers the idle mixture screw, you cannot adjust the carb. If the plug has been removed, you adjust the carb exactly like you would any other carb, for the highest, smoothest idle speed. Once this is obtained, adjust the idle stop screw to obtain the correct idle speed of 1000-1100 RPM.
