Most likely a hardware problem. If that's the case then you're probably going to need to get it repaired.

Hello, This seems more like an interface problem then a board issue. Which interface are you using Component Video, HDMI or , RF(F Connector)? If you are using the RF (F Connector) there might be a problem in the tuner including the RF and IF sections on the circuit board. If you are using HDMI there might be a problem in the HDMI Integrated Circuit If you are using componente video the there might be a problem in the video circuits connected to the RCA jacks of the Component video input. If I were you I would have the take the TV back to the shop and have these items checked out, because board swapping is not the proper thing to do. Either the disc is scrathed or you have to remove the cover and take a q-tip with rubbing alcohol and clean the lens.

the portion between CPU and CPU sink must be clean, to work well for CPU cooling. So remove the fan gently and clean the surface of sink which touches on the CPU, also clean the CPU surface which touches on the sink.

hmm regarding connection if you can post a picture of your board i will mark on it where to make connection.

Is this problem happening when playing back from DVD, VCR or internal disk?

Does it freeze in play also? Might be an optical pickup issue and require a replacement pickup.
