Question about HP Compaq 6000 Pro Small Form Factor PC (NV503UT) C2Q Q94000 264G500DVDRWW7P64 SFF DT (NV503UTABA) PC Desktop
I switched out the 256 pc2100 memory, with 2x528 pc2700 and got the red light and no boot up. Replaced memory to original, and no boot up.

u just bought the wrong type of memory take the chip out of ur pc to best buy or a good computer store to help u buy the correct memory

In short no, you can't use that ram in this computer. According to the specifications on the HP website you can use PC2700/PC2100/PC1600 up to 2gb maximum memory for the pc.
