Left side brake will not release

new piston seal possibly not seated correctly and has rolled out of position not allowing piston to return to place once pressure is released.. remove and examine and check condition of seal.

Nv45ab won't advance nails

The allen screw/s that you mention are there to plug holes where automatic equipment would normally connect (such as automatic nailing machines) . This is only a plug and should not be driven in too far. I have also seen allen screws installed in the head to repair small crack/s.

1997 Ford E350 clearance lights don't work

First check the fuse, the clearance lights are not factory in most cases and the wiring gets shorted from poor wiring. Once you replace the fuse see if the lights come on, if the fuse blows right away find the wiring to the clearance lights and disconnect them, if the short goes away it is a I said the wiring is shorted. If you don't have the owner's manual you should be able to download it at the link provided. It should be fuse #10 a 20 AMP in the interior fuse box.

Have you just replaced the clutch? Taken out the transaxle, and put it back in? Are you sure transmission was in good condition before this? If so, review your procedure carefully to be sure you got it all back right.
Watch the slave cylinder while someone depresses clutch. You should see the little plunger move slightly out and move the clutch lever back. The lever moves the release bearing inside bell housing into contact with the pressure plate. If slave cylinder doesn't move at all, try bleeding again. The plunger has to move when clutch is engaged.
I'm not sure what you mean by "will shift but won't go into gear". You mean it's actually going into a gear position and car won't move? Or it won't go into any gear, period. As if you had no clutch?

Buttons on our concealed dual flush cistern have stuck in, water constantly running into pan?

the ring where the buttons are should unscrew and the full unit should pull out,if that dos,nt stop the water try to gently pull the plunger up, if that stops it push the plunger back in to flush toilet,see if plunger returns to normal position and water stops, if that dos,nt work have it checked out by aservce engineer.

I need to find out how to take off and put on a starter on a 2004 chevy tracker

During the following test, the starter motor must not be energized for longer than 5 seconds, otherwise you run the risk of burning out the starter motor coil.
  1. Remove the starter motor from the vehicle.
  2. Detach the field coil lead from terminal M on the starter motor.
  3. Using jumper wires, connect a 12 volt battery to the starter motor so that the negative battery terminal is attached to the starter motor housing and to solenoid terminal M, and that the positive battery terminal is connected to starter motor solenoid terminal S. The starter motor plunger should move outward; if it does not, replace the solenoid with a new one. Fig. 1: To test the solenoid plunger, first detach the field coil lead from alternator terminal M, then attach a 12 volt battery to the starter motor as shown . . . 90882g50.gif

  4. Detach the negative battery jumper wire from terminal M on the starter motor solenoid, and check the plunger for movement. The plunger should remain extended; if the plunger returns to its resting position, replace the solenoid with a new one.
  5. While observing the solenoid plunger, detach the negative battery lead from the starter motor housing. The plunger should return to its normal resting position; if it does not, replace the solenoid with a new one.
  6. Reattach the 12 volt battery and install an ammeter to the starter motor as shown in the accompanying illustration. The starter motor should rotate smoothly and steadily with the pinion gear moving out, and the ammeter should display less than 60 amps at 11.5 volts (Samurai models), or 90 amps at 11 volts (Sidekick, Tracker, X-90 and Sidekick Sport models). If the ammeter does not display the specified values, or if the starter motor does not operate smoothly and steadily, replace the starter motor with a new one.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. If necessary for added under-vehicle clearance, apply the parking brake, block the rear wheels, then raise and safely support the front of the vehicle on jackstands.
  3. From beneath the vehicle, label and detach all wiring from the starter motor solenoid terminals.
  4. Remove one of the two starter motor mounting bolts and loosen the other bolt until it can be turned by hand, then support the starter motor with one hand while removing the last starter motor mounting bolt.
  5. Lower the starter motor down and away from the engine and transmission. To install:
  6. Hold the starter motor in position and install the two mounting bolts. Tighten the two bolts securely.
  7. Reattach all applicable wiring to the starter motor solenoid. Ensure that the wiring terminals and connectors are clean and free of corrosion.
  8. If necessary, lower the vehicle.
  9. Connect the negative battery cable.

Driver will not return to rest position,

The plunger or anvil has damage, or your return spring in the chamber is broken. This could also be caused by mechanical issue in the anvil track.

Yes, this can be recalibrated from the outside. To get your chrono hands pointing in the right direction pull the crown out to the first position then click the plunger/ chrono button. This should move your chrono hand one click at a time to get it to the right place. If this does not work try pulling the crown out to 2nd position (all the way out) and try clicking the plunger as described above.
If this STILL does not work, which it should, then you'll need to go to an Omega dealer and have them take a look at it.
