The manual for the Canon P170-DH calculator is found on the canon usa web site. It is 22 mg in size, but prints out to 4 pages in English, Spanish and French.

According to the manual: Use only Ink Roller CP-13.
There are four figures showing the steps, so you'll have to imagine it.
1. Turn power switch off.
2. Remove the printer cover (Figure1).
3. Hold the tab of the ink roller. Lift the ink roller out of the base (Figure2).
4. Insert the new ink roller into position. Push down on the center of the ink roller until it locks into place (Figure3).
5. Replace the printer cover (Figure4).

Print out the manual for yourself and put it in a safe place.

SOURCE: An ink roller CP-13 is

Hello,

Obviously, we do not stay in the same vicinity, so I wouldn't know precisely where you can get this part that you are looking for in your area.

I would suggest you contact Canon via phone or email, and they should be able to direct you to their office near you or the nearest dealer close to your vicinity.

To contact Canon, visit www.canon.com, at the top of the page, select your continent and a canon site will open. Scroll down the page, and you should find "Contact Us", Click the "Contact us and you should find Canon's contact there.

This I believe is a good way by which you can get to parts required.

I hope this is helpful.

Good luck.

How do you change ink on a canon p20-dh calculator

For accounting offices and stores, calculators that produce a printed paper are indispensable. Canon's desktop or commercial printing calculators use ribbon tape, and you'll need to change the ribbon when it is used up. All Canon desktop and commercial printing calculators use the same method for changing the ribbon.
  • Turn off the calculator.
  • Pull up on the tab on the far side of the printer cover to remove the cover.
  • Pinch together the ribbon lock (the arrow shows you the direction to pinch). Lift the ribbon spools off the shafts and discard them.
  • Separate the new ribbon spools. Guide the ribbon tape around the four guiding pegs and set the spools on the shafts. The spools should be peg side down.
  • Rotate the spools so the peg at the bottom of the spool goes into the hole of the spool holder. Release the ribbon locks.
  • Rotate the spools to make the ribbon taut, keeping the ribbon positioned around the guide pegs.
  • Replace the printer cover and turn the calculator on.
