Question about Swintec 2600 Typewriter

Open Question

When I plugged it in right out of the box, it kept making long beeps. The only way to get rid of it is to turn back off the power switch. Also, the typewriter doesn't do anything.

Make sure the switch is on REG mode. Make sure there are NO batteries in it. Turn power off at wall for a few minutes. Turn on and it should beep three times. Then put the batteries in. If it beeps more than three times, the printer is probably jammed or faulty. Make sure it can turn. Try taking the ink roller out as it sometimes gets sticky and jams the printer.

Electronic control panel went blank and oven is beeping

The first thing I would do, because it is an "electronic" control panel is to unplug your stove, wait about 30 seconds, then plug it back in. Your Control panel may just need a reset and reboot.
If it is difficult to get to your plug-in, then go to your household breaker-panel box, and flip the switch for your stove to the off position for at least 30 seconds, then switch back to on. ...That's the same as uplugging and plugging back in at the wall.

Hope this helped hun ;-)

I have a fisher and paykel fridge freezer model e372b my power kept tripping a few days ago and I didn't know why we switched the power box back on and it tripped again we turned it back on and it tripped...

Check the power cord on the fridge to make sure it is not broken or frayed. There is an electrical short somewhere. Check the recepticle that is used for the fridge by plugging something else in it, such as a lamp, to see if the receptacle has a short in it.

F1 flashes after unit has been plugged in for awhile. It works, but we have to unplug it to get rid of beep and F1 message. Any ideas?

You have either a bad ERC (clock) or a bad touch pad.
  1. Disconnect power to stove
  2. Gain access to the back of the clock (electronic range control or ERC).
  3. Unplug the touch pad ribbon connector from the ERC. This will be a flat wire apx. 1 1/2" to 2" wide.
  4. Make sure everything is clear and will not short out when power is turned back on.
  5. Turn power back on to stove.
  6. Watch for the F1 and listen for the beep.
  7. If you get the F1 and beep, replace the ERC.
  8. If after apx. 30 minutes you do NOT get the F1 and hear the beep, replace the touch pad.
NOTE: Some models incorporate the touch pad and the clock as one part.

If you dotn find this new part in your store, check THIS LINK to repair service.

Hops helps.

Is there a way to determine the output resolution as to be hdmi or composite video without being able to see anything? I am unable to use hdmi as there is no signal, and then composite video seems to have...

Plug in just the orginal cables, make sure there is no disc in the ps3, turn off ps3 with main power switch in back, then turn that switch back on. Now your gonna hold the power button, its gonna beep right away, then a few seconds later it will beep again, the light should stay green and that resets the display settings back to AV. If it doesn't work the first time, try it again, somtimes it takes a couple trys.

IC7-G MB after changing bios memory to F1 on reboot getting

You'll need to reset the Bios.
Take the battery out inside, it's usually on the lower right of the motherboard, it looks like a watch battery.
Unplug the computer and press the power button to get rid of any extra juice from your power supply.
Wait about a minute.
Put the battery back in and plug your system in, the reset should be complete.
Some motherboards have a pin setup to reset the system. If the jumper is in (oox, x being the free pin) for example, then just switch the jumper to (xoo), turn your computer on...nothing will happen, all good.
Put the jumper back from (xoo) to (oox) and it should be reset.
Keep in mind, doing this a lot isn't good for the system. Make sure you know how to switch up the options in your BIOS.
Good luck!

Red Blinking Light

This is a general warning code. Try switching off the power in the back of the system, waiting a minute, then switching it back on. Try turning the system back on and see if it happens again.

Power BOX supply cord problem or hardrive problem?

Check these settings first. In a clear spot on the screen where no icons are, right click and go to properties, box opens and at top should list from R to L, themes-desktop-screensaver-appearance-advanced. click on screensaver, close to bottom click on power, another box should open, click on power schemes, make sure it's set to portable/laptop, and at bottom make sure settings for plugged in are are set to never. If it's not that then you have a bad power supply cord, or a bad power supply unit in laptop. If it's new and under warranty take it in and have replaced if not warrantied then will cost you about 100-150, just a guess!! hope this helps. But it sounds like the supply cord making the beeping noise might be bad. Make sure it's plugged all the way in as well.

Blinking orange light- will not power up

it could be a memory error (the beep you hear tells you what is the error code, 1 beep is usually a memory error. Go to to learn more about computer P.O.S.T. and error beeps.

Also the fact that you kept you <processor??> clean. Does this mean you didn't put thermal paste on it? If so you definitely need to put some on there to help with heat exchange with the heatsink.
