Click on the "Start" button and then type "Update" into the search box. Click on "Windows Update" in the box that appears. Click on "Check for updates" and wait for the updater to scan your system. Click on the firmware update, if there is one. If your scan disk firmware is up-to-date on the right firmware, there will not be an update. Click "Install Updates" if you have an update available to you and then click "Finish" when it is complete. Restart your computer.

Sandisk 4gb cruzer micro showing 0 bytes and not accessible, i have valuable data in it

Files on a flash drive canbe corrupted if it is not removed from the USB port properly.
Before removing the flash drive click on the Safely Remove Hardware icon andthen click on the flash drive you want to remove and then remove the flashdrive when the computer message says it is Safe to remove.
To restore the flash drive you need to format the flash drive, but you willlose the data stored on the flash drive.
If you need the data on the flash drive these WEB sites may help: -

Cruzer Scandisk 2.0 titanium

Hi, Not unless you are using Windows98, your PC should automatically recognize the SanDisk Cruzer Titanium as a "Removable Storage/Device". Driver is not required for Windows ME, W2k or XP. If for some reason the SanDisk Cruzer Titanium (non-U3 devices) is not recognizable, then perhaps it is not a problem with the PC but with the SanDisk. Pls try all other USB ports of your PC (front and back). The SanDisk website provides utilities/software for this kind of eventuality. They are Sansa Firmware Updater and Sansa Connect Recovery Tool. Both are available at http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx. Pls be forwarned that some utilities can and will reset your SanDisk to default and any or all data can and may be deleted. Hope this be of some help/idea. Pls post back how things are or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards.
