I have the sennheiser officerunner wireles headset and when I hook it up to charge it will start charging but when I came in the next morning the charge showed that it was almost back down to -0-. wh

I placed the headset to charge yesterday and it started to charge. However, when I came in this morning the headset showed that it was almost out of charge and it had not been used. the blue light is on showing that it is charging. What could make it lose its charge without being used?

i told u so kayla. a sound card upgrade is necessary so the connection would work.

Well I have had the same problem as well, twice really. The first one got replaced by Sennheiser, very good service. Unfortunately about a year later the same problem, I am waiting now what they will do with this. I really like the little earphones but I need them to work. Untill now I have had great service which of course comes with the quality of the name.

SOURCE: Can't turn off the Sennheiser

A faster solution is to plug in the charger for a second and that will reset the led.

Hi Suzanne, I want to help you with your question, but I need more information from you.
If you step back and look at this problem, there are two to three things that immediately come to mind: 1) have you hooked your headphone input to an output of another device like an amplifier or tv or ...? 2) Are you certain that the headphones are charged and the power to the base station is good 3) pairing the headphones to the base may be an issue.

Only getting about 180 feet of range. Old Jabra was close to 300 feet. Any ideas on how to increase range? What is the Frequency of an OfficeRunner?
FCC regulates the range on these, newer models are supposed to have a shorter range than older devices.

Replace battery in a sennheiser officerunner headset
Here are the instructions for removing the battery and replacing it from your friends at Headsets.com!


1) Remove the headband or earloop.


2) Pry the battery door away from the shiny, black plastic strip on the tip of the headset using your fingernail.


3) Carefully flip back the speaker cover to expose the battery.


4) Gently remove the battery connector from the headset by pinching all three wires (red, black, and white) between
two fingers and pulling outward away from the headset.


5) Connect the new battery to the headset and gently close the battery door.


6) Place the headset into the charging base with the microphone tip pointing UP.

Sennheiser MM100 bluetooth not working
Yes I had the same problem. Under some circumstances the MM100 freezes (didn't figure out when just yet). It's a software issue inside. Solution: open left speaker (the side with the charge connector and hence the battery). Discharge the battery (or just short circuit for half a second) and it works again. Sennheiser should built a reset button on these things.

Complete silence on HDR 130 headset - probably in discharged state for some time, now charged for 48 hours
I had complete silence on an HDR 130 headset (no beeps, nothing), but I solved this problem using a solution posted on another thread. Unplug the base, take out the batteries and wait 30 seconds. Reconnect it all and listen. Mine started working immediately!
