SAMSUNG N110 mini laptop. Can't get any sound from my laptop unless i connect headphones. Any Solution? Pls Help.

If the headphone socket is rarely used, the contacts can tarnish switching the loudspeakers off. Check your speaker icon first before blaming the socket itself.

Marantz pm 7200 loudspeakers do not cut off when headphones pugged in

Some amps have a button which you press to mute the speakers when the headphones are plugged in. Sometimes marked "Speakers on off". If it hasn't then a new headphone socket would not be expensive to fit. As long as the amp producers sound I don't see any future problems. The previous owner may have used the headphone socket a lot, and simply wore it out!

Sony ericsson j20i speaker problem

When the speaker does not work, there can be different causes. Something got in the headphone plug, preventing the connection to the speaker when the headphone plug is out. Another bad connection in the phone, or even a defect loudspeaker. When you are no tech, just bring the phone to a repair shop and let a tech review the problem.
I would blow in the headphone connector with a bellow a photographer uses to blow away dust from the lens and sensor. DONT blow in yourself, because of the moist you bring in. And I would plug and unplug a few times to see if that can solve the problem. Not to often and if it does not help? please do option 1 visit a tech.

My amp isn't producing any sound. It works when headphones are in but that's it. Please help

The headphones socket is on the preamp stage - it works so the problem must be after the pre-amp.
Do you get any sound at all from the speakers (hiss or perhaps a click) when you turn it on?
If yes it is an amplifier problem.
Here are some possible causes
  • A wire has come off the loudspeaker - easy to fix
  • Speaker protection fuse has blown - small glass fuse mounted on main amplifier chassis - replace with correct rated and type of fuse (note some of these are 'slow' blow type - important that you get the right one)
  • faulty component in the main amplifier stage - requires attention from qualified repairer
  • Loudspeaker burnt out - this can be tested by connecting another speaker across the terminals of the built in speaker.
  • The headphone jack socket automatically disconnects the loudspeaker when phones are plugged in - it could be that the contact in the headphone jack socket is bent and not re-making contact when the headphones are unplugged.

Sounds like (no pun intended) the amplifier circuit in the speaker is bad. When you use the headphone the amplifier is not used - only the preamp. It will need repair.

Not able to here anything, can only here when the loudspeaker on.

there are 2 things that can be broken either the flex cable or the headphone. better try to change the headphone first cuz its easyer and cheaper to change. since u can hear on the loudspeaker it means that the audio driver and the soft of the phone are ok.
