I found an owner's guide for the Inspiration Elite here: http://justnebulizers.com/inspiration-elite.html . Look under the Additional Information tab. The direct link to the manual is http://justhomemedical.com/skin/frontend/v4/default/images/pdf/Inspiration%20Elite%20(J-REHS456).pdf . Under the Specifications tab, the model is listed as the HS456.

It sounds like you need a new mask. For now, boil them for 2 minutes.

There is not much available on this model but I found something for you here for sure so you can hopefully at least get it working for your son.
