Could be loaded with CD's already. Or some use a Navigation disk and may not load until the Navigation disk is in place. Another Expert may have more to say about this.
check the sa/nav fuse in engine compartment. may be blown. or sat/nav dvd reader is in trunk of car on passenger side above wheel arch, unscrew holding screws , disconnect power cords at rear, & get unit checked. it may be finished. can repair or replace..both expensive.
Tony, check the door to the nav unit in the trunk, when the door is open there should be a small plactic point on the door that fitds into a tiny hole on the nav unit, if this plastic point on the door is missing thats the problem, I had it happen to me. ken. You can check this web site http://www.zenrin.com/ but your Infiniti dealer will have or should be able to get an update disk for your vehicle navigational system.
Typically the vehicle manufacturer provides a yearly update for there navigation systems.
Check your dealer, he should be able to help you.

same problem, disc is located under passenger seat, talked to honda canada , alpine and honda usa, they dont make a disc for 05, couldnt get nav in 05 cannadian pilots , they dont even make north america disc just stricly usa maps
