Slight tapping noise from engine when accelerating when engine is warm.Started about 3 days ago but hasnt got any worse.Doesnt do it when cold.

tap usually associated with lifters when vehicle warms up oil thins out and a bad or worn lifter will make a tapping noise --other oil level low --oil needs changing --low level will starve rockers/push rods/and lifters which will also cause tap ---damaged /dirty{sludge oil can cause same problems

How do I fix the tapping sound from the engine when i accelerate after it has reached running temperature

Adjust the valve tappets (yes, they 'tap') AKA Rockers or find out why the hydraulic self adjusting tappets don't work?

They transfer the downward motion of the cams on the camshaft to depress the valves. There is a thin clearance of about 8 thousandths of an inch with the engine cold. As the engine heats the clearance reduces. Over tightening causes the valve edges to burn, too much clearance causes tapping.

Manual tappets get quieter usually as the engine heats. Hydraulic tappets gets worse as the engine heats as the oil thins.

It lifted the car weight fine but it would eventually drop back down. what i did was drain the hydrolic oil and replaced for a new one but now it doesnt lift at all.

Sounds like you're having issues with a hydraulic jack. There are a few things that could be causing this issue:

1) The seals in the hydraulic cylinder are beginning to fail, allowing fluid to leak out of the pressurized cylinder and back into the reservoir
2) The valve is failing, leading to a similar issue stated above.

That stated, DO NOT CONTINUE TO USE THE JACK until you have resolved the issue--the high pressure system could fail very violently.

Change pump hydraulic to electric jacks

I would contact the MFG for their recommendations for changing to electric jacks. Is your current hydraulic system an electric pump or hand? You might want to consider an electric hydraulic pump. Availability for the snow plow community is high. Their reliability is well known.

Hi there,
Sounds scary! How steep is the hill?
Could you jack up the back end of the mower and check both wheels are driving? Maybe get it running slowly and get someone to carefully try and stop each wheel from turning with some sort of friction, eg a broom. If just the left wheel is driving you could get similar symptoms to what you describe. Some mowers have a key in the axle to wheel joint - if this is the problem then maybe yours is shorn.

How to change motor mount

if you don't have an engine hoist you'll need a couple of hydraulic jacks. loosen the bolt that bolt the engine to the mounts. then raise the engine with the hydraulic jacks. once you have just enough clearance to get your hands and tools into the bad mount remove it. put in the new one. slowly lower the engine back into place with your hydraulic jacks and tighten then engine back down to the motor mount. be careful the engine doesn't shift while it's suspended on the jacks one it's dangerous and 2 it will make it harder to realign the engine when your lowering it back onto the mounts

The clutch is operated by hydraulic system. before you change gears, press the clutch pedal few times to increase the pressure in the hydraulic system. if it improves it then there is a leak in the hydraulic system. comen component to fail are Slave cylinder or masture cylinder. Good luck.....

MOTION SENSORS WORK BY MEASURING TEMPERATURE.

ANY TEMPERATURE VARIATION COULD CAUSE A FALSE ACTIVATION. LOOK FOR ANYTHING IN SIGHT OF THE MOTION SENSOR THAT CHANGES TEMP.

ALSO SOME UNITS TURN ON THE LIGHT WHEN THE SAFETY EYE BEAM IS BROKEN.
YOU COULD HAVE AN INTEMITANT OPEN CIRCUIT OR SHORT (USSUALLY UNDER A STAPLE) CAUSING THE LIGHT TO AVTIVATE FOR ABOUT 4.5 MIN. I HAVE ALSO SEEN SPIDERS MAKE THE HOLE WHERE THE EYES ARE A NICE HOME THIS WILL ALSO TRIP THE EYES.

HOPE THIS HELPS

1993 Toyota Camry V6: Engine Overheating Prob

Yes if it hydraulically operated it could be because the pump for the fan is bad. If I am not mistaken the fan is run off of the power steering pump correct. check and make sure the pump is working correctly. I have not seen a hydraulic motor on a car I know they put them on a lot of diesel trucks like humvees and some Chevy diesels but not on a car. Most are usually electrical. I know on humvees with a hydraulic fan they have a fan controller check this and make sure it is working right you can unplug the controller and the fan should stay ingaged and turn faster.
