Pressure valve stuck & time didn't work

I used this for the first time & noticed not only did the pressure valve not release when the rapid release button was pressed, but the timer didn't appear to work. When the soup was done, the background never changed colors from red to yellow.

Loss of pressure

You will probably find the loss of pressure is bad pump seals maybe even worn pump pistons. The problem is that it cost as much to repair these pump as it does to replace them with a new warrantied unit most times. Larger commerical pumps are still fairly reasonable to repair but the replacement costs are coming down too.

What is wrong with my pressure washer when I turn in on there is no pressure to the spray

Dear Sir,
Most probably, you left the pressure on when you used it last. You could also have let it with soap or chemical in the system.
When you finish using a pressure washer, you should, after switching off and removing water inlet...RELEASE THE PRESSURE. Before this you can, pass clear water to clean and clear any chemical or detergent. Now to get to the problem. If you do not release the pressure and do not clean from detergent.....this will result in jamming the SPILL VALVE. This valve controls the pressure and controls the shutting down of flow, after gun is closed. Myself I prefer to renew the Spill Valve, than to service it. Now to get to the spill valve....this requires professional work. But if you have the right tools, you can get to it very easy. Usually you can spot a Spill Valve, by noticing a micro switch, with wires protruding out....on top or near the spill valve.
Also beside the spill valve.....there could be something that have locked a valve open. Thus pressure never builds up. To check this, the machine needs to be dismantled altogether. In a few words, the machine can get fixed, but if what I mentioned is too difficult for you, you have to get professional help.

Goodman Heat Pump laing heat and loud noise

Taking a little bit of time for heat is normal but the "pressure" thing you are referring to leads me to believe that the reversing valve is getting stuck. You will here that "pressure release" noise with a reversing valve but it should not be happening 5 minutes after start up.

Front wheel bearings were installed too tight, the wheel has zero play and the brake caliper will not release properly

When you say "the wheel bearings are too tight, & there is no play". Is this on the rotor, or axle hub? When you depress your brake pedal, a number of things are in play. The twin pistons, within the Brake master cylinder is pushing hydralic Brake fluid to your caliper, under extreme pressure. When your foot is removed from the pedal, all there is to get that caliper to release, is a clean, wrking piston in the caliper, & THE MOST Mis-Diagnosed problem I have noticed on all makes, brands & models, ever since the inception of disc those "flexible, high pressure brake hoses. As fluid is pushed thru at extreme pressure, & only returning spring, non piston pressure, a "deteriorated hose", will actually work as a one way "check" valve. It will set the caliper, but, not release it. The gop bad at about 75,000 miles & up, depending on conditons the vehicle is used in.

The starter won't completely turn over even though

Sometimes on the Briggs and Kohler engines, the compression release fails to operate at the proper time or is malfunctioning. A remedy for this is to remove the valve cover(s) and adjust the OH valves per the manufacturers specifications. This enables much easier starting, produces less wear and tear on the starter and may allow your new battery to completely turn that engine over. Out of adjustment valves mimic a weak or failing battery quite well and the engine hangs up on the compression stroke because the compression release system is not working properly. Adjust those darn valves.

K5.140 makes a revving noise when releasing the

Before you do the below steps check the water supply inlet screen for obstructions where the water hose connects to the unit. If you notice debris remove and clean the screen under running water with a small NYLON brush.

The bypass unloader valve is triggering earlier than it should. You can lubricate this by adding oil to the water supply inlet (at least 3 oz.) and very briefly switching the unit on then off 0.5 seconds. Then let is sit overnight. The next day connect power briefly and again cycle the unit on then off for 0.5 seconds. Connect the water supply and then purge the water wand hose into a bucket to catch the oil before use. After this restart the unit and operate the wand trigger under full pressure at 0.5 second intervals to ;scycle the bypass / unloader valve inside the pump. This method has worked in about 95\0 % of the machines I have worked on. The oil lubricates and fattens the seals in the bypass / unloader valve. It eihter works the first time or the seals are torn in the unloader valve and must be replaced. With only 3 uses I think your pretty much in the clear and will not need new seals.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Loses pressure

The unloader valve in the water pump is stuck. The grease wears away after time. You need to remove it, apply grease to the upper o-ring and reinstall it. Use pump guard in the future to prevent this problem.
