SOURCE: My 1998 Toyota Avalon XLS squeals loadly when I start the engine and the fan is on in the car. I turn of the fan and it stops. After driving I turn the fan back on and don't get the squeal anym

Almost certainly one or more of the drive belts (not the timing belt) on the engine needs an increase in tension. It may tell you about this in the owner's handbook.

If not you can either ask a mechanic to do this straightforward job for you, or try it yourself. You can download a zipped service manual from here

and look these belts up in the charging section and steering section.

Sometimes my temperature gauge goes up on my Toyota estima and the engine gets very hot and the water overflows from the coolant, don't know what the problem is.

Check if the fan is running. You may also have blockage in the radiator or coolant is not circulating properly. I suggest first draining the radiator and inspecting if there are debris in the liquid that comes out.

Kenmore refrigerator(model 10653606202) freezer is cooling, can hear the circulation fan' noise, also see defrosted water in the bottom collection pan. but the refrege is not cooling.

If the freezers is freezing everything and you can hear the circulation fan, maybe it is a defrost problem. Sometime ice will build up behind the rear panel in the freezer section that blocks either the chilling tubes to the refrigerator section.

You will need to remove the food from the freezer, then remove the shelves and inside back panel of the freezer. If you see a lot of ice, that is probably your problem. DON'T use water to defrost, either unplug and let it set with the door open or hurry it up with a hair dryer.

It also means your defrost assembly has stopped working and will need replaced, but the unit will work without it for several weeks before the ice build up redevelops.

Amana ABD2533DEB Bottom Freezer - Fridge not working

Sounds like the circulating fan is either gone or is going bad. This problem is hard to diagnose because sometimes the fan will run but not fast enough to circulate the air through the freezer and refrigerator. I would have your repairman look at this or if you have the know how then you can order the fan and replace it yourself.

When accelerating our van it starts to squeal very loud now.

Have your fan and other belts checked/replaced!
Rarely but sometimes a can of belt dressing will stop the squeal if the belt's just a little to dry!
Check your oil!
Check your trans and other fluids if you don't think it's a belt!

Squealing noise under the hood

No, The fan clutch will not make a Noise it will just not catch the Fan to Cool. It is the Belt. Make sure that it is Tight. You may have a Bad Belt Tensioner if it is not.
