SOURCE: Base Detachment

If you lay the TV down on something soft but firm (towel on the floor or counter) put the screen face down on the back you should see 4 screw holes with the an (S) next to them. They are located at the center near the bottom. If you remove these screws the stand should then slide out of the bottom of the TV. Good Luck

SOURCE: TV wobbles on its pedestal stand.

Sounds like stand has been installed wrong an maybe miss aligned, and screws may be loose! Try removing and start over, or call installer back.

How do I remove the base stand to wall mount a Samsung model T24C55OND flat screen TV

The wall mount attaches to the top 1/3 portion of the TVs rear panel. The bottom of the back of the TV should not interfere with your wall mount if it's the correct size. Full instructions are listed starting at page 39 of the manual.[X13_NA]BN46-00319C-04ENG-0312.pdf

I bought a new Vizzio M22OVA and have been trying literally for days to attach the base stand. I even called Vizio customer service and they were no help. I'm at a total loss. I really love the design of...

The stand has 8 small tabs that protrude from the top of the stand. There is also a larger clip that sticks up a little in the center. Purpose of large tab is to snap into place to keep stand from coming off. Just place stand on bottom of tv so the tabs on the stand go into the holes in bottom of tv.
Then just slide stand forward or backward till it snaps into place. I think 2 screws go into the bottom of stand after it is snapped in place to hold it. Just be careful and don't put any undue pressure on the screen. Actually works better with one person holding the tv upside down while another snaps base in place.

TV tilts forward on base about 15 degrees,

The only things I could think of causing this would be either the hardware not tightened up properly or defective base (stand.) Make sure all the screws are tightened securely in the bottom of the base and in the back of the tv where the base attaches. Someone may have used the wrong screw holes to attach the base but there really should only be 4 holes to use to screw the base to the tv. This may need returend to the retailer for an exchance of the base.

Problem on Samsung 55" set can't remove base

A difficult one as Samsung do not recommend that this uint is wall mounted but there should be 4 screws attaching the stand to the base of the TV chasssi but if you do remove it you will end up with a gap in the cover as Samsung do not provide blanking covers to cover it up.

Removal of flat screen pedestal so I can wall mount tv

Had the same issue. I turn the unit upside down and while holding panel down just pulled staight up on the base. The circular base popped off without any damage. I just needed to remove for I didn't have to remove the cylindrical post. Once the base is removed you can see a screw that probably attaches that cylinder to the unit. Carefully removing it should work. Good Luck....j
