How do I obtain access to the drain tube on my Frigidaire Freezer model FFU20F9G?

Good Morning Shirley, thanks for your post!

From the information you have provided you need to access the drain tube on your Frigidaire freezer. The drain tube is located in the rear wall of your freezer. In order to do so you would need to disassemble your freezer and this is not a simple DIY job. I would recommend that you consult with a professional technician for proper disassembly and reassembly. This will help you avoid any future issues. -Matt

Dismantling my dryer

Great detailed directions on disassembling the LG Dryers on You-Tube. Much more helpful and accurate than a narrative from me.
Also, you can run the dryer with it partially disassembled to observe what is happening and to troubleshoot the problem.

Front shock oil running all over

Unless you've had your front fork assembly serviced recently, I'd guess you've got blown oil seals in the top of the sliders on your forks. If someone serviced your forks lately, they may have put in too much oil and blown the seals. You'll have to drain the forks, disassemble the fork tube from the lower slider and replace the seal in each leaking tube. Refill the fork tube with the designated about of oil for a "dry" refill. Use this figure because the fork tube was disassembled. When you simply drain the forks without a disassembly, you cannot get all the oil out and the refill quantity is less.

Good Luck
Steve

I have a HP Designjet100 Plus. The black went from ok to light to nothing. I have cleaned the printer head manually and thru the maintainance setting on the machine. Any suggestions? Do i need to buy a new...

You can try to disassemble the printhead and check for contamination.
First remove cap 1

than using a small flat screwdriver disassemble printhead (engagement points 2 and 3)

Warning - a printhead is filled with 8 ml ink

After disassembly - clean the printhead with fluid compatible with pigment ink (for black color) or compatible with water based ink (color printheads)

during reassembly - don't forget to fill the printhead with ink (2/3 of its volume)

The focuser has probably come loose from the "rod" on the mirror.

Here is the focuser disassemble instructions:

Output shaft separated from output tube 93 Jimmy

You need to disassemble the front diff as there is a clip that holds the shaft in the housing. You should just be able to remove the housing if it is the right side, whole diff for the left side.

My dremel tool runs fine (the motor)but the spindle stopped turning. Bumping it a few times will sometimes get it started again.

there is a tubing connector between the collet and the motor, they hot glue these together. i just go to the auto parts store and get a new piece of tubing and glue it the same way.you will have to partially disassemble it to replace the coupling. if you disassemble it the collet just lays in the housing on the motor side cut the tubing to the right length. a slightly smaller size won't need the glue.

There is a small black tube like piece that has come loose inside my lense and I need instructions on how to disassemble. It has something to do with the zoom I think?? Nikkor 18-55 ED

The small black tube piece is a sliding light baffle which has come loose. Zoom lenses are very complicated to disassemble, and you have to have both the knowledge, experience, and the right tools to disassemble a zoom lens.

The tube should never have come loose in the first place, so I would classify this as a product defect. Contact Nikon, fully describe the problem, and insist that they repair the lens at no charge (although you will have to pay to ship the lens to their repair center).
