TUMBLE DRIER STOPPED HEATING

Gas dryer?

If so, probably bad gas solenoid valves. They can safely be replaced without fear of releasing gas. Two phillips screws, two pull off wire plugs. That's it. Cost about $30 bucks depending on where you buy them. They are a universal part and will fit 99.9% of machines.

FGR231ASY GAS DRYER BURNS FLEESE MATERIAL CLOTHING WHY

Hello my name is George,
I was wondering if the dryer was just burning fleece or all of your clothes. Fleece is a very delicate material, and should be dried on low temp or delicate depending on your drier. Driers are thermally protected inside with various parts. If the drier is getting to hot one of these would have caused the drier to stop heating. If the drier is burning all the clothes and not just the fleece I would recommend having a technician come out and check it as this could be a hazard for you and your family.

Amana LE7153WM drier will not start... makes a low humming sound when you push in the select dial to start the drier

Hi John, W/D here.
Most likely scenario: squealing was either a belt or a bearing. Failure to run is probably a broken belt. Gain access to the back of the drier, with the power disconnected. Open the back and check the belt. If broken, replace it, and then rotate the drier by hand, listening for additional squeals and squeaks. If no other issues are noted, replace the back cover, plug it back in and try it out.
Best regards, --W/D--

My Maytag dryer model pye2300 stopped working one day randomly. I know its not a fuse issue to the 220 outlet in the house, because I tested the oulet, and the drier still is receiving electricity, because...

The timer on your dryer is more than likely bad. You already know what the timer is and where located. Not really that high priced thru ebay or an appliance repair outlet. Usually just a screwdriver and a small socket is all you need to change. Great sense of accomplishment when you finish and it works while saving a lot of $$$$. Stan
