You can activate POP3 in Yahoo email. Then you can download all your messages together with the attachments to your computer with any standard email software. If you want to leave the messages in Yahoo rather than 'moving' them to your computer, do not forget to check the software documentation on 'how to leave messages in the server'
Let me know if need any further help

First, click Options in the upper-right corner of your Mail page and select Mail Options.
From the list on the left, click POP & Forwarding, then in the middle of the page click Set up or edit POP & Forwarding.
In the bottom half of this page, click inside the circle next to "Forwarding". Then enter the email address in the blank and click "Save."
Zing! – your mail now gets forwarded to that email address.
Note: You can’t simultaneously Forward and POP your mail.

You simple CANNOT. Windows Mail no longer supports the HTTP servers used by Yahoo! and other web-based e-mail providers. Windows Mail does not permit the use a Web-based (HTTP) e-mail account on a computer that is running Windows Vista.
For an alternative, use Windows Live Mail instead of Windows Mail
loadTOCNode(3, 'resolution'); Windows Live Mail is an e-mail program that you install on your computer. Windows Live Mail stores messages on your computer. This means that you can access, read, and compose e-mail messages even when you are not connected to the Internet.
Windows Live Mail works with popular Web-based e-mail services such as Hotmail, AOL mail, Google mail, and Yahoo! mail. Windows Live Mail is built to automatically configure many popular e-mail services.
