I would format the card. Make sure you format the card IN the camera. Don't use a card reader or your pc. If that doesn't work (I'm sure it will), then you have a bad card.

Sounds like the card has died. unfortunatly this can happen. and could be caused by a number of things including static.
you can maybe try a disk repair in windows.
hit your windows key and press r at the same time. in the command line type CMD and hit enter, it will open up a DOS window. type CHKDSK ?: /f where teh question mark is, is the drive letter that windows has assigned the card when you insert it. if it is an error that is repairible this might work.

Hi, I had a similar problem and solved it by formatting the card when in the camera, this will delete any old memory the card is retaining, hope this helps.
