do you get a 'NO Signal' display on monitor, or anything when booting?
if not check to see if you can see lights on inside the frame? if not, do you hear fan spinning or beeping? sometimes the fan on the heat sink over the processor will stop spinning. the chip needs cooling so if fan won't spin an error will not let pc boot up to save it from getting too hot.
if you can take frame off and find the processor chip on motherboard to see if it is spinning. if not that would stop it from booting. if it is spinning then it is something else like the graphics card failure.

The cooling fan for the condenser is probably running, getting hot and seizing up. Check to see if the fan is free spinning after it stops. Take a probe and try to spin it manually. If it turns freely, then it could be going bad with it's electrical windings, the internal coils that create the magnetic field that spins the rotor of the fan motor. I suspect it is seizing up, however, once a fan seizes up, it usually stays that way and won't spin even after it cools down. It could be a capacitor that is going bad and not starting the fan after it gets hot. A capacitor is a small round shaped can type with usually 2 wires hooked in series with the motor it is trying to start. That is what it does, help start the device (compressor or fan motor). Good luck.Ken from Henderson NV.
I have the same problem. when i put in a disc while holding down the little button that makes it think it's closed, it starts to spin and if i keep on spinning it it will say loading until i stop spinning it, then it just says no disc.
you allneed to make sure the disc is spinning in the player you should hear it whirr as ut builds speed listen closely to it and keep a hand on it to feel when the disk quits if it starts. its supposed to spin v ery fast do you think you could tell by the sound of it if its spinning fast. some times they make a clicking noise because the drive mounts have slid down in the case and allows the disk to rub or tap the case. please let me know what you find out. this is for all three problems. let me know the results so i can further advise you.
Jayron, is the motor jogging? start to spin, stop, start to spin stop. If so, your motor is jogging between the high and low start windings. The motor during spin should start on the high speed windings and stay there until most of the water is drained. GE came out with a new motor, harness and run cap because of this. If you have a meter, there should be a white and white/red wire going to the motor. If you have a steady 120V and it's doing this jogging, replace the motor with the kit...Let me know if this the issue, Catriver..post back.
