That is what private mode means, the call will be private. You didn't list what model car you have or if this is a factory bluetooth unit ar aftermarket, so I can't provide any step by step instructions to get out of private mode.

try ctrl+shift+n . may help.. private browsing also mean incognito mode.

Monitor. This is usually a button which will temporarily put your radio in monitor mode. This turns off any private line (PL code) you may have filtering your frequency. This allows you to hear all users on your frequency, which are in range of your radio.

• Next to "Temporary Internet Files", click Delete files

As evidenced by the lack of a numerical keyboard, your scanner is an oddball that does not allow direct keyboard programming of a known frequency. Rather, you can only transfer a displayed frequency from the SCAN mode or SEARCH mode into the PRIVATE bank. Details for doing this can be found on pages 24 through 26 of the Uniden owners manual. Listening in since the 60's

You need to run it under windows 98 compatibility mode:

To do this locate the file "privateer.exe". By default, this file is located in Program Files/Global Star/Privateers Bounty - Age of Sail 2.

- Right click on the privateer.exe and select Properties.
- Click the Compatibility tab.
- Check the Compatibility Mode box by clicking in it.
- Use the drop down menu to select Windows 98/ME.
- Click Apply, and then click OK to close the window.
