ERROR E03 WHATS IS MEAN ON MY CONVERTER 600 WATTS ELIMINATOR

Hi, here is the error codes that I could find for you, it seems you are overloading the inverter. That means you cannot connect a kettle or other heavy load to the output. See all error codes below, hoep this helps.

Problem: The AC load will not operate, error code shows on digital
display and alarm is sounding.
Error Possible Cause Solution
E01 Low voltage shutdown because battery is discharged.
Recharge battery. Shorten cables or use heavier cables.
E02 Over-voltage shutdown because of high input voltage.
Verify the charging system is properly regulated and the battery
is 12 V nominal.
E03 The AC product(s) connected are rated at more than the
inverter's continuous power rating; overload shutdown has
occurred. Use a product with a power rating within the inverter's continuous power rating (see Table 3).
E04 The inverter has overheated due to poor ventilation.
Overheating shutdown has occurred.Turn inverter off and allow to cool for 15 minutes. Clear blocked fan or remove objects covering unit. Move the inverter to a cooler place. Reduce load if continuous
operation is required.
E05 The AC products connected have a surge power that exceeds
the Digital Inverter's surge capability or the AC products connected are short-circuited and shutdown has occurred. The products exceed the inverter's surge capability. Use a product with a starting surge power within the Digital Inverter's capability.

What does ocp mean on the 3000 motomaster power inverter

Unit is overheating.
1. Check fans are running. and unit is in a cool place where air can flow freely.
2. If fans not working try using an external fan to see if the OCP error goes way.

Reduce the load on the outlets (Disconnect some stuff i possible)

We havve a Westward 1YAY9 1500W inverter which has worked well for a long time. Now it often stops working after 5 minutes and after it has been shut off for a time, will start again. The pump we run is...

It is overheating. A good test for this is to use a soft gel pack that can be put in the freezer. Use and old towel to wrap the ice pack once and set it on top of the inverter for about 20 minutes. Then use the pump. If it runs longer, the inverter is going bad, and will cost more to repair than to replace. Check all wiring for green corrosion as this can also cause overheating, but the fact that you have the same power draw leads me to a bad inverter. 6.5 amps is pushing a 1500 watt pretty hard, try stepping up to a 2000-3000w Westward.

Hi
15/16 amp would be recommended.
You could to try a 20 amp, but you will risk overheating and the possible failure of the vehicle circuit fuse.

I have a motormaster 1750 inverter hard wired in my semi truck, I had the inverter turned off, I replaced all 4 batteries started the truck smelt something burning and now the breaker on the inverter...

Recommend (1) open the inverter (with battery power disconnected) - and inspect incoming cable between the power switch and the battery cable entrance. Possible that a wire overheated and shorted on the input cable.
Next (2) if problem cannot be located, go to http://search.harborfreight.com/cpisearch/web/search.do?keyword=inverter and replace it with at 2000 watt inverter for 130 bucks.

Laptop screen inverter issue (Toshiba Satellite A205-S4587)

Inveter issues are a common fault on laptops both new and old. In many cases it is up to the individual to decide if the laptop is still going to fulfill thier needs for the next few years if it is repaired or sold to provide some funds towards a new laptop.

I have not seen any special cooling products for inverters. I have seen laptops used as desktops with the screens left running for weeks on end which is not the primary purpose of a laptop. conditions such as those could lead to heat build up and the issues you have seen.

If you are confident enough to do the repair yourself then you can keep your repair costs to a minimum and replace the inverter.

Power hook up

This type of inverter has large alligator clips on it because the amperage that comes through a cigarette lighter is insufficient and can result in blown fuses and overheating of the socket. Hook this one up directly to the battery without splicing a longer wire to it.
