How change spark plugs

Have a look on the following link for the socket/wrench/tool you will need:
spark plug socket Google Search

To avoid getting the ignitions leads replaced in the wrong order:
Remove ONE lead from ONE plug at a time.
Use the tool/socket to remove that plug by turning anti-clockwise.

Put the new socket in hand tight - this is to avoid cross-threading the spark plug and damaging its threads/threads in cylinder head.

When the spark plug is hand-tight/finger tight, tighten it with the socket /tool. Just 'gently tighten it up' - do not overtighten.

Replace the ignition lead and then move onto the next plug.

How do i replace spark plug

Without more information, like make and model, I'll have to give you a generic answer:
1. Unplug the plug wire from the plug
2. Place a plug socket over the plug
3. Use a socket driver to un-screw the sparkplug
To reinstall:
1. set the new plug's gap to the manufactures recommendation.
2. Lubricate the threads of the new plug with lithium anti-sieze grease (lightly, an amount the size of a grain of rice is plenty)
3. Hand-thread the new plug in as far as you can hand-turn it.
4. Put the socket wrench on it, tighten no more than 1/2 to 3/4 turn after the gasket contacts the head.
5. Replace the wire on the plug's top.

On some cars, the space to get to the plugs is very limited. I've changed plugs where the plugs were between the exhaust pipes, or behind the alternator.

On a 2012 freightliner cascadia, how do you change the front turn signal bulb?

The socket the bulb plugs into must be turned to the right (as if it is reverse threaded), then the bulb and socket will release. The bulb itself is simply plugged straight in, so simply pulling straight on it should remove it from the socket. Then, press the new bulb (#4157NA) firmly into the socket until you feel it "click" in, and reinsert the bulb/socket assembly back into its housing and turn it to the left until the socket "clicks" to lock it back in place.

How do you replace spark plugs.

One spark plug at a time. Use a 3/8 extension and a spark plug socket, the socket should have a piece of rubber in it to hold the spark plug in it. Remove the spark plug wire to gain access to the plug, then using the socket and rachet with the extension, turning to the left untill spark plug is all the way out. Looking at a spark plug can tell you several things about each cylinder they come from, so get a manual for your car, anyways replace new spark plug in the socket, be sure to double check the right gap, then replace by turning to the right/clockwise direction untill it is snug in the hole. Do not over tighten or under tighten. Replace the sparkplug wire and move to next plug. Good luck

How to change spark plugs - what order do I connect the plugs in

Get a 3/8" drive ratchet with an extension and a 5/8" spark plug socket, doesn't matter which one you take out first, take off plug wire, slide socket over plug, turn counterclockwise to loosen, take plug out of socket, place new plug in socket, insert plug in hole and turn clockwise to tighten, put plug wire back on. Do one at a time and you can't screw up the firing order.

Where is the radiator drain plug for a oldsmobile alero 2001

The radiator drain plug is on the lower left front (drivers side) of the radiator. To access it you may have to remove the front air dam. It is a white plastic plug and requires a Torx socket to loosen (sorry but not sure of the exact size of the Torx socket). Insert Torx and turn counter clockwise a half turn. Pull the plug out using a pliers until fluid begins to drain. Be careful because this is a plastic plug and may break easily. When fluid is finished draining simply push the plug in and turn clockwise half a turn with the Torx socket to secure.

Spark plugs

Wait until the engine is cold. Carefully remove the spark plug wires from each cylinder. Pull the wires by the boot and not by the wire or the wire will be ruined. Now, using a spark plug socket (one that has a rubber fitting inside of it) and an extension remove the spark plugs by turning the wrench counterclockwise. Insert the new plug into the socket so that the rubber will hold the plug in. Place the plug and socket down inside of the hole. Hand tight the plug by turning the extension clockwise. Once the plug cannot be turned by hand, tighten it a little more with the socket wrench. Install the wires back onto the plugs by pushing down on the boot. thanks for using fixya and plsase do rate the solution.
