Cook works microwave timer stuck

If by "manual timer" you are referring to a knob that you turn to set the cook time, then you may have a failure of the motor that turns the timing mechanism, or a lack of power to it.

I am wanting to wire a Baxi 105E boiler to a Danfoss 102 mechanical timer. The boiler has 5 wires = red, blue, earth, black and yellow. The Timer has six terminals = 1 DHW, 2 HTG, 3 COM, I (earth), 5...

1) Contact baxi:

2) Which boiler wires? I don't know. Page 24 manual.
Manual says to disconnect link between terminals 1 and 2, and instert timer in-line.

2) I can tell you about the timer wiring.
Timer is 230Volts
Not sure if you have British Hot-Neutral 230Volt, or Hot-Hot 230Volt.
Wiring is same 2 wires, but words to describe are different.
Let's say you have Hot-Neutral 230V
Connect Hot to L6
Connect Neutral to N5
This will power the timer so it runs and keeps time.
You can get Hot-Neutral wires from Hot-Neutral that arrive to power the boiler.

Now the timer terminals are separate.
E terminal is Earth or ground.
The Common is Hot wire.
The timer then turns on-off and switches back and forth between DHW and HTG.
HTG is heating
DHW is defrost.
Timer has 2 sets contacts.

When timer activates first set of contacts, then DHW defrost terminal receives power from Hot wire on Com terminal. At this time, all power is cut to HTG heating terminal.

When the defrost cycle ends, then the heating circuit receives power, and then the timer has programming that opens and closes a second set of contacts going to HTG heating terminal.

Which wires from boiler connect to each terminal, I am not sure.

Regarding the GE Digital Timer, model # 15079 Hello Heatman...Question about the programming of the timer: I own a yoga studio and some of the classes are heated so I need to have the heat come on at...

Bottom left corner of manual shows:
ON = Always ON;
OFF = Always OFF;
AUTO ON = Timer is ON and ON/OFF program is activated.
AUTO OFF = Timer is OFF and ON/OFF program is activated.

This is confusing and I read timer manuals each day.
By process of elimination, AUTO ON seems correct for timer functions ... since other choices don't fit.

Add a comment for more free help, and let the next person know which setting is correct.
Also take advantage of fixya phone service.
For a price, fixya expert speaks with you over phone while you work on timer, or any other project.

Need a manual for drayton tempus 3 heating control

I've ended up with a Drayton Tempus 3 when I bought my house, and I think this is how it works. It allows you to set 2 Timers (I'll call them timer 1 and timer 2) so that you can control Hot Water or Heating On/Off times twice a day. The unit has 6 buttons - 2 for Adjustment, 2 for Hot Water and 2 for Heating. The 2 Adjustment buttons allow you adjust the Clock Time, or allow you to adjust Timer 1 and/or Timer 2. NOTE: Timer 1 is the time refered to on the Heating / Hot Water Select buttons if you press "Once". If you select "Twice" on these the both Timer 1 and Timer 2 are taken into account. For example if you want Hot Water to come on Once between 8pm -10pm, but you want Heating to come on Twice between 6am - 7am, and 8pm -10pm, you have to do the following: Set Timer 1 to 8pm - 10pm, and set Timer 2 to 6am -7pm. Then select Once for Hot Water, and select Twice for Heating. Hope this helps.

My daughter has a Baxi Combo 105e fitted with an optional timer. I believe that the timer is possibly a Grasslin although it has no name on it. Although the clock goes round, the Central Heating doesn't...

I have a Baxi Combi 105 HE boiler that has just been fitted and it has the optional 7 day digital timer but no instructions on how to set it does anyone know where I could get them from. Many thanks
