### 1 kg is how many pounds

The answer to this question depends on the definition of the pound you are supposed to use. There are a number of different "pounds", the most customary are:

The British avoirdupois pound, where 1 kg = 2.205 lb,
the troy pound, where 1 kg = 2.679 lbt,
the metric pound, where 1 kg = 2.000 pound.
(all numbers rounded to three digits)

In the US, the avoirdupois pound was adopted in 1959, replacing a slightly lighter pound definition introduced in 1893. The troy pound is still custom in weighing gold and the metric pound is occasionally used in central Europe as an inofficial unit, e.g. Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

A wide variety of historic pound definitions exist; I am aware of at least 20 ranging from 1 pound = 1 kg (Dutch 'pond') to the 1 lbt = 0.37324 kg (troy pound).

### What are the ramifications of pulling a 800lb wave runner..with my 98 cabrio

This car is not designed to tow any weight let alone a 800 pound wave runner on a trailer weighing even more. You will be towing over 1/2 ton. Possibly overheating the engine and transmission and you will have a hard time stopping unless the trailer has brakes. Not a good idea.

### How many pounds does the trillium tr-500 bread baker make? 1 or 1 1/2 lbs?

Here is how you determine the size of loaf you can bake in your machine. You need to determine the capacity of your pan. Fill your pan with water and measure the cups added so you know how many cups of water are in the pan when it is full to the very top. Here are the conversions:

1)If your pan holds less than 10 cups of water you can make: a 1 pound loaf

2)If your pan holds 10 cups of water you can make: a 1 pound loaf and a 1.5 pound loaf

3)If your pan holds 12 cups you can make: a 1 pound, 1.5 pound, and a 2.0 pound loaf

This is rare, but if you pan holds 14 cups or more you can make all the above plus a 2.5 pound loaf

Fragrances contain a certain amount of natural ingredients, which are expensive. To make a pound of rose oil, it takes well over a ton of flower petals, and this cost can range from three to four thousand dollars. The same is true for most essential oils.
