SOURCE: Somenon put a power on password on a hp desktop

Turn the unit off. If you open the unit there will be a jumper to clear the CMOS and a battery. Remove the battery and then switch the jumper as silkscreened on the board. usually there are 3 pins currently crossed are 1 and 2. switch it to 2 and 3, press the power button then hold for a few seconds. unpress the button and remove the pwoer cord. press and hold the power button again for a few seconds to clear all power. reconnect the jumper to 1 and 2. put battery in and plug and boot. password should be gone.

in some units there is a "clear password" or "cmos password" jumper. crossing this will remove the password in those units.

SOURCE: I have a toshiba 19slv411u I want to connect to a Hp omni 100 PC.what do i need?

I'm not sure you can connect that monitor to that computer. That is an HP all in one model and according to the specifications does not have an external video or VGA connection which is what you would use to connect that monitor to the computer in normal circumstances.

My omni will not power on blank screen only

Hi Julie,

Have you checked all your connections? Where there any odd smells such as burning or anything of that nature? Any sounds when it starts to boot up?
