SOURCE: Display not reading properly
Try this first
Open up the doc feeder
unplug the power cord
hold down the pointed switch behind the small glass strip while plugging the power cord in
close the doc feeder
scroll down to SHIPMENT SET
press 2 for no
wait for machine to intialize.
if this doesn't work you have a bad LCD display.

Sounds like either the fluoro has died. When you turn it on, is there any fluoro lighting coming out from behind the edge moulding on either side????

PLEASE read your owner manual, section troubleshooting and reset the microwaves.
Otherwise you mus call to the company Panasonic, and get support ONLINE via phone or chat, for to resolve the problem. Can be a problem with the eleactronic board PROM.
