Question about Yahoo Computers & Internet
My smartphone (Droid)was linked to my Yahoo account and I was receiving all my emails until this week and then they suddenly stopped. I have "synced" the account but still no emails. Please advise. firstname.lastname@example.org

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: My account is disabled
If your email in yahoo was disabled, there is no chance on getting it back. The reason was that you have been reported by yahoo users for abuse. If you did not do an abuse intentionally, you're computer or yahoo account must have been compromised with virus, and do the nasty stuff on your behalf, that is why people reported you.
If you are eager to know, click on HELP and submit an email to yahoo; they will email you if there are still a way to correct things. But if no avail, then you can just set up another account.

this sounds like your computer is infected with a virus or malware. First off try changing your password. Then go to www.cnet.downloads.com and download the following programs.
***CleanUp or CCLeaner (this removes most of your temp files)
***Spybot - Search and Destroy
if you have over a GB of memory you can download this
Best of luck and have a Happy and safe 4th of July weekend

If you do not log into your Yahoo account for a certain period of time (4 months), Yahoo will close your account and permanently delete all your email.
The only way to avoid this would be to sign up for Yahoo Mail Plus for $19.99 a year. In that case, they will keep your email for as long as you pay the bill, whether you log in or not.
An additional benefit of the paid Yahoo Mail Plus account is that you will be able to download your email into mail programs like Outlook or Windows Live Mail so you have a backup copy of all of your email.
However, as long as you log into your Yahoo email at least once every four months, your email will not be deleted.
