Predictive Text on Samsung Soul

If you have accidentally saved a word into the T9 dictionary (ie, "IS" comes up with "47" or "Get" comes up with "HDU", you can teach the dictionary to revert back to the original word.

What you have to do is..... create a new text message, enter the text that is annoying, (ie, "IS"). When you type the word and it comes up with the annoying one, select the word that you wanted and enter a space, and do it again and again - you can do this in the same text message - it can take up to 20 goes but eventually, the dictionary recognises that you actually wanted "IS".

How do i disable auto text correct?

Hi Smith ric207,

To disable the dictionary in your text panel, while in create message mode, select 'options', then 'dictionary', then 'dictionary off'. That should turn off your dictionary mode.
Alternatively, while in the text mode, at the top left corner of the screen, you would see 'Abc' or 'abc' or 'ABC', with an underline mark.
Toggle your hash key (#) till you see an 'Abc', 'ABC', or 'abc' without the underline. Then your dictionary mode would be off.

Hope that fixed your problem?
Have a nice day.

Nokia N95 Dictionary

i assume you mean to activate the dictionary,if that is correct
goto menu messages ,new message, then text message ,
once you have opened a new text message to be written ,
you will notice in the upper right hand corner thier is  a picture of a pencil and the letters abc. in one of the following ways
if you press the hash key the  letters will change from uppercase to lowercase keep pressing the hash key until a double underling apears before the pencil symbol , once you see that you have activated the dictionary..

Hope that helps

Probs with text

Go to Settings->Other->Text Input->Personal Dictionary or Word Completion. If you have Personal Dictionary enabled, any predictive text words you've used in the past are still stored. With Word completion on, your Razr is auto-completing words from the Personal Dictionary. If you like to type the words in yourself, letter by letter, just turn these settings off. You can also want to reset your Personal Dictionary.
