Question about Royal Office Equipment & Supplies
I took it apart and a cursory glance showed no obvious loose wires, I cleaned the feed sensor again and put it back together but it still won't run.
It maybe that the shredder cutters are jammed. Unplug from mains, and lift off top and
place upside down. Use a small screwdriver and poke at any compressed paper
wrapped around the blades - can take a while.
Give a quick spray to cutters with WD40 Replace - turn on - and run in reverse.
If all else fails, contact the maker

Some shredders have optical sensors with a dark sensor LED on one side of the slot, and a clear transmitter LED on the other. You will most likely have to disassemble the shredder housing to clean them.
MAKE SURE TO UNPLUG THE UNIT.
Generally you will find screws on the underside of the shredder unit, with one screw covered by a "warranty void if broken" sticker. Remove these screws, separate the housing, and clean the optical sensor pair with windex or isopropyl rubbing alcohol. If your shredder has a CD slot, it may have its own sensor pair. Be sure to clean both pairs of sensors, as the CD sensors seem to be the ones that have the most trouble because of small aluminum debris.

Here is the info that I found:

Subject: TS4500 from Winsource Ind.
This TS4500 shredder had been discontinued for more than 5 years. The factory did not make any spare parts for this model.

Some shredders aren't designed to shred anything more than paper. Credit cards, staples, paper clips and the like could have jammed it up. Try running the shredder in reverse and oiling the blades. More help with paper shredder oil here: http://hubpages.com/hub/Paper-Shredder-Oil
If you can't get the paper shredder up and running, it looks like you might have to pick up a new paper shredder. Paper shredders can be pretty cheap though, great guide to cheap paper shredders here: http://hubpages.com/hub/Best-Paper-Shredders

Did you ever put shredder oil onto the cutting blades?????
The blades can clog with paper dust and then it can't shred as many papges as it should or even jam completely...you should occasionally shred a sheet of paper with shredder oil poured onto the sheet.
