Question about Price Pfister Plumbing
Model 42 YP Series. This is a new faucet. I have 3 of these and all of them have same problem. Other faucets in house have no such issue. Water is cloudy because of air bubbles and clears out in 30 seconds or so, I would appreciate your help in fixing this issue.
Usually, there is a filter-like mesh at the mouth of the faucet for producing the air bubbles. You may try to turn the mouth part using a suitable plier to see if it can be taken out and you may do something about the mesh.

Rust is usually a sign of galvanized pipe mixed with copper pipe incorrectly.Could be the pipe nipple used for the tub spout connection to the valve. You could change it to a brass nipple might be the problem

SOURCE: after installing a grohe faucet
It air bubbles in the water giving the appearance of cloudy.
It would seem that the aerator in the new faucet is particularly efficient.
If you take a glass of "cloudy" water and let it stand for a few mins, you should find it clears up nicely as the air slowly bleeds out through the top.

If you have full pressure on the cold water side and low pressure on the hot side then you well need to remove and clean or replace the cartridge for the hot side. If you have low water pressure on both sides try removing the aerator and cleaning it.
If you need to replace the cartridge on the hot side do both sides while you at it.
Whenever you work on any faucet before you turn the water on remove the aerator and run the water for a few seconds then replace the aerator.

SOURCE: moen 2 handle bathroom sink
Try going to their web site and selecting consumer support. Usually the bathroom sink faucets, you can unscrew the handle with a Phillips screw-driver and then twist the body of the faucet off. Then there will be a nut to screw off, to remove the inner "guts". It sounds like the rubber seal is worn out on the inner faucet assembly. If so, then all you would have to do, is to replace the rubber seal. I hope that this helps you out. If not, then I would contact the company and see about a replacement faucet, depending on your warranty! If worse comes to worse, then I would call in a professional plumber, to assist in fixing it! Good luck my friend.
