SOURCE: bought a used jandy lite

Before you undertake this project, you should know that you will not just need the orfices. You will also need a different gas valve.

gas valve part number is : r0096900 for propane ($300.00+)
orfice part number: L0032900 (set of 2) ($3.00)

As you can see, this gas valve is not cheap. The lite2 is a very reliable heater, but chances are that if its been out of service, yo will also have to replace the thermocouple which will be another $75-$100.

Its very unlikely that anyone at your local pool supply store will have the gas valve in stock. They will definately not have the orfice in stock. Your best bet if you still want to proceed is to purchase these parts off the internet. Just google Jandy pool parts. then goto a few sites, search for the part numbers i gave you, and check for the best price.

Jandy pool heater wont stay on the blower kicks on the ignitor glows it lights and then 4 seconds later goes out and i get ignition fault code. please help me out

most likely problem is incorrect gas pressure or a clog in the gas line. If this is a propane heater (you did not specify) then the owners manual is wrong on the gas pressure, you should call the manufacture to get the correct settings for propane.

Either way you need an experienced gas person to come set the gas properly.

Also I had serious problems until I had the gas company install a regulator right next to the heater (so the entire under ground gas line was high pressure). I use to have a regulator next to my house so low pressure fed all the way from my house to the heater (200ft) and this caused serious problems like this.

I also had a regulator break on me one year. It basically stopped putting out the right pressure.

Lastly the flame sensor could simply be bad. If you are still having this problem I can explain how to remove and test the flame sensor. It is easy to test and easy to replace.

I'm trying to convert a Jandy 250 BTU propaine pool heater to natural gas and I need the parts

go to the pool store or supply house or call the manufacture if anyone there speaks good english. and tell them what you got and that you need the propane orfices and the propane gas valve and regulator for your pool heater. you'll need to change the orfices, gas valve and regulator.

Tappan Range Model TGF351ESJ Nat. Gas to Propane

Yes you can convert the range

2. Provide an adequate gas supply.
This unit is pre-set to operate on 4" natural gas manifold
pressure. Aconvertible pressure regulator is connected to the
manifold and MUST be connected inseries with the gas supply
line. If the LP/Propane conversion kit has been used, follow
instructions provided with the kit for converting the pressure
regulator to LP/Propane use. The LP kit can be found on the
back side of the range (some models).

I yours does not have the kit on back go to sears to get one.

Good Luck
