I hav a Silvertone sslb11 bass that needs a new volume pot and don't know wich one to buy. I don't see any part numbers or values printed on the pot. Does anyone know part numbers, brand, or...

I recommend checking music stores in your area for that, it doesn't have to be any specific rating of impedence. Depending on brand, I see guitars with anything from 50 ohms to 250 ohms. This only allows a faster cutoff on volume than others. The most critical action is to have a smooth taper, meaning a straight volume rise or decline versus one that goes down slowly or quickly and suddenly cuts off. Most any guitar volume control from a music store will work just fine. In case I confused you, ohms is the rating of the control, the taper or smoothness is classed as A, B, or C. A is normally for volume controls and B is used mostly for tone controls. Knowing that should give you insight insight to the difference of the controls.

Acx1800 no bass very small volume, brand new do i put my speakers in phase?

If you are sure that the input device (I'm assuming electro-acoustic guitar) is working properly then it sounds like a clear case for return to the vendor! If it is brand new then don't even try to repair it. The phase buttons on the guitar channel are to help reduce feedback by putting the body of the guitar out of phase with the speakers. The speakers should all be in phase with each other though.

It sounds like the sustain is stuck on as if a sustain pedal is active. You don't mention if you have one, however if you MIGHT have one and you have used a Roland pedal, that brand is reverse sensed and would cause note to remain on.

My new Yamaha DGX-230 keyboard is defective - no "A" keys work on the entire keyboard. The display doesn't even show I'm pressing the keys either. Is there anything I can try? There is no...

One of the key scanning matrix wires is defective someplace between the key contaact and the receiving circuit. Since this is brand new, the costs should be handled under warranty since you say the keyboard is new. I have downloaded the service manual:

Scroll down to "Get Manual" and click on it to download. On page 61 is the keyboard contact diagram. I woudl appear that if a matrix line is bad, the the D# notes should ALSO be bad.
Since this is new, I would not attempt to repair it. Call the distributor regarding the return oor repair... they MAY have an authorized repair facility. If the D# notes are OK, then the problem is deep in the unit... This is ALL based on the symptoms you have given..

Hi, I just got a new williams allegro digital piano, and the right speaker sounds noise with low keys.

If this is a brand new unit, exercise your warranty!

BUT FIRST see if packing material worked through the speaker grill... you know littel pieces of the packing peanuts or otherr contamination that sits in the speaker cone and rattles.

Our brand new Korg SP170 worked great for several days. Today all the C keys and all the E keys quit making any sound. We checked all cords and connections, turned it off a bit and back on, with it plugged...

There probably is a cable or connection inside that is loose... The keys are scanned as a matrix so some connections are in common...

HOWEVER: Since you have had it several days DO NOT delay, call for warranty service. This is not a DIY repair unless you are adept and comfortable with electronics.

Keys keep breaking off our wk-3000 this start just after we bought it brand new in austboughtrial we brought it back to new zealand and have put in 4 new sets

The "C" key of each octave is the weak point of the key section. This section includes the keys of C, E, G and B. After experiencing key failure, I purchased new key sections and before installing them, I put a small portion of two part epoxy on the weak point. I have not had another failure "yet".
