Well if you don't have internet that is probably the problem but if you do it is because there must be a bug with that. I say you use the actual app not the button (or whatever it is) instead. I hope I helped! Happy Valentines Day!

1. Double-click the Home button. This minimizes the app and displays the iPad's multitasking screen.
2. Drag the stuck app upwards on the screen. This forces the app to close and removes it from the iPad's memory.
3. Press the Home button to display the iPad's home screen. Tap the app's icon to relaunch it. Any unsaved data, like words you typed in a document or progress in a game, is lost, but the app opens and should respond normally.

When you try different patterns and unable to unlock your phone in five attempts. Then a message pop-up and shows two buttons "next" and "try again".
Now click on "next" button and you see two options for unlocking phone. One is answer the security question and the second option is to provide Google account details.
Mostly people don't set a security question. But if you set it then simply answer the question and unlock your device quickly. Otherwise check the Google account option and click "next".
Now provide your Google account username and password attached with your device and click on "sign in".
After that you are directed to choose new pattern and now you can unlock with this pattern.
if you don't have your google account, you can do the recovery option, but you will lose all your data in there
Power off your phone.
Now press Volume up, power and home button at the same time and wait until your device starts.
When you see logo screen release the power button and keep pressed the other two buttons.
Now your screen shows android system recovery and there is a list. Use Volume up or down keys to select option from the list. And select factory reset option and then press power button to let the action begin.
Now it asks you for confirmation, select "yes".
After factory reset completes, it again shows you android system recovery screen. Now select reboot option and after restart it will not ask you for pattern.
Steps on how to do the restart. -You have to turn off the system. -Then press and hold the power button until you will see a message that will popup in a window that saying "Device Options"Appears on the screen. -Then select the power off again then you can see it again.You can be able to check that it first. -Then just select okay And while holding down the -Back -Button -Then Press and hold the power button. -Until you see the Coby`s Logo -Then wait until it change to Android Logo. - Then press the Back button.And Then the system menu will appear in the screen. -And then choose the wipe data/factory reset. >Home >Menu Buttons >Press the back,the button once you select the wipe data/factory reset then just click option. Then the confirmation that you will see in the screen Is a "yes" "Option". Then Choose "yes"-delete all user data,option by using the "Home"and "Menu"buttons. Go to the play store which is located under apps. Click on that and wait for that to load and there should be a search bar. Press the search bar with your finger. It should then bring up the keyboard on your screen. Type in Google play and then hit search or enter. Google play should come up and then click the download button next to the app. Once the app is downloaded it should say download complete. Then the app will be visible on your main screen and is also accessible from your apps screen.
Here is the instruction on how to do the factory data reset when a customer locks the system and lost his security password/pattern. This instruction works for MID7016 and MID7022. An end user must follow each step precisely. Otherwise, he/she will not access to the system menu mode.
Connect the AC power adapter.
Turn on the system.
Press and hold the power button until the popup window of "Device options" appears on the screen.
Select the "Power off" option from the popup window. You will see another popup window of "Power off".
Select the "OK" option. The unit will turn off.
While holding down the "BACK" button, press and hold the "POWER" button until Coby logo appears on the screen.
Release both buttons once you see Coby logo on the screen and wait for a while. The Coby logo screen will change to Android logo.
Wait about 15 seconds after you see Android logo. (Do not press any button while waiting. If you do, you will not be able to access to the system menu.)
Press the "BACK" button once. The system menu screen will appear on the screen.
Choose the "wipe data/factory reset" by using the "HOME" and "MENU" buttons. (The "MENU" button will allow you to browse down through the option list, while the "HOME" button will allow you to browse up through the list.)
Press the "BACK" button once you select the "wipe data/factory reset" option. The confirmation message will appear on the screen with YES or NO option.
Choose the "Yes - delete all user data" option by using the "HOME" and "MENU" buttons.
Press the "BACK" button once the "Yes - delete all user data" option is selected. It will perform the factory data reset. Wait until it is done. Once it is done, the main system menu will appear on the screen again, and the "reboot system now" option will be selected as a default. If not, you will need to select the "reboot system now" option from the list.
Press the "BACK" button to reboot the system. The system will reboot with the initial factory data setting. All user data will be lost.
Give the reboot at least 5 minutes. Do not assume the unit has frozen
Here is what you do:
1) Click on a blank area of the desktop (not sure why, but sometimes this is necessary).
2) Press the toolbox button on your monitor. It is located in between the rotate screen button and the secondary "Esc" button. A tablet shortcut menu should appear in the middle of your screen.
3) Select "Settings" at the bottom left of the menu. This will open a "Customize Tablet Shortcut Menu Settings" Window.
4) In the "Auto Screen Rotation" portion of the window, make sure the "Enable ActiveRotate" box is checked.
5) If you choose, you may also want to click the "Calibrate" button. This will step you through customizing the ActiveRotate to your personal preference.
6) Click "Apply" and then "Ok".
Please note, that with the internal wi-fi connection enabled, you cannot use the X61 in tablet mode in certain orientations. Nothing bad will happen if you attempt to do this; but you will notice a message popup telling you this, as well as having the screen automatically switch orientations on you. This is normal and has something to do with the wi-fi antenna location.
