If the vacuum is old, the intake path from the hose to the dirt receptacle may be plugged from years of dust, dirt and grime. This happened to one of our vacuums, and I had to take off the bottom guard, the belt and the sweeper bar to access the intake, and it took me about an hour to get it unplugged.
If this is a new machine, the hose may not be properly connected when you are using the crevice device. Check the manual for proper installation.

It would help to know your postal code in order to to find a shop that caries bags for that model. Otherwise you can get them online such as amazon. Samsung Type VP-95 are the bags and should be readily available; also evirocare make a bag for them which is package #211.

Most vacuums have an air duct on the hose to adjust the amount of suction. If this becomes opened, you will hear the sound you've described and the suction will lessen. Check the wand and the hose and see if you notice a sliding piece that can be moved to enlarge or decrease an opening in the wand or hose. Use this to close the opening and your machine should work as it's supposed to.

check all hoses ect for blockages ... see if belt has snapped on roller ...replace if need too. also check filters give them a clen.

I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.1st tune your vacuun over to expose the bottom plate and the brushroll / belt area,
and the bottom plate is held on by either screws or clips, remove the bottom plate and tkae of the belt. When you install the belt, place the belt on the brushroll pulley 1st, then if you have a screwfriver with a bend or hook on the end the pull the belt onto the motor shaft then roll the brushroll/belt so theat it makes the belt run straight. Place the bottom plate on the unit and turn it on to make sure the belt stays on and then put in the screw or clips to secure the bottm plate.
