How do i fix error code e11 on my TEC MA-1535-2 cash register? I am trying to change info to the Departments.

I have already done a status clear and run a few reports (because I'm pretty sure that's why I'm not being allowed to add new data) - but after all the report running, I still get error code E11 when I try to use those department keys in REG mode. Help!

You have turned the key before you finished in the previous mode. Turn the key until the mode error stops (not counting the off position). That is the mode you need to finish. Try pressing SUBTOTAL in this mode and then turn the key

1)Turn your MA key to 1 position after Z.
2)switch off MAINS(plug)
3)press 3&9 simulteneously
4) while still pressing, let someone insrt the plug for you
5)turn back to REG

Liquid spilled on it? Case opened up? Try unpluging it then wait a while and replug it in again and try it.

I have a tec ma 1350 cash register and slip price keeps popping up whats wrong


Had the same problem if the slip price light is on blow out the validation slot with a can of air its that simple

Perform a status clear.
turn key to blind(must be S key not mgr key) while holding zero key down turn reg on with power switch on right side.
reg will beep once & print reciept saying status clear.
this wil not clear programs or totals.
