I'd be thinking real serious about changing the IAT sensor. Usually located on air cleaner housing, it senses the incoming air temperature & advises Computer to adjust fuel as necessary. You can try removing it & cleaning it with tuner cleaner from electronics store, but replacement is usually required. A good mechanic & scan tool can test it before replacing to see if it is functioning properly.

Ethanol gas syndrome. have the fuel filter replaced(it's in a terrible location near the fuel tank). add a can of SEAFOAM to FULL tank of PREMIUM gas. your oxy sensors may need to be cleaned.

If you can afford it; it wouldn't hurt to change the fuel filter out again at 500 miles. the ethanol creates a goop in the system that affects the fuel, emission, and engine systems. let the mechanic show you the cho, milk-like subatance that's in the filter. Trust me; I've been doing this for years. the worst thing that ever happened, was ethanol gas.

SEAFOAM will eliminate the water that is created, will clean the emission parts, dry up the fuel lines, and clean the valves in the engine, which are now caked with heavy carbon.

Add a can of SEAFOAM every 3-5000 miles, and it will keep your car running better.

The mechanic might try to tell you to buy Heet, or something else, but SEAFOAM is the only thing that combats this problem. costs 8-9 dollars. that's not bad for peace of mind. good luck.
