Question about ACR Maylong Group FD-220 Car GPS Receiver
Going on a trip to florida my gps is 4 years old, does it need to be updated & if so how?
The only thing you need to do (maybe) is to update the maps. make sure its maps cover the region where you will be traveling, otherwise it won't be of any help. Since roads do change over the years it is possible that your map may be inaccurate somewhere. If you are unlucky to find yourself in such an area, an old-fashioned road atlas or an area map might come in handy.
