Question about Microwave Ovens
The Roslyn standard bank manager did not take me seriously with what we were experiencing. The building is dilapidated and the is no customer service at all. You have to ask other customers about where to get assistance. The employees seams not happy about the environment their are working in The conditioning when the bank is full are not working, I have ask myself why standard bank don't close this branch and build a suitable building that can accommodate every one including people with disability. I was with my father who uses caches to walk and I decided to go inside and request a wheel chairs only to be told that it is not provided by the bank. I have to drive to Ga-Rankuwa CBD to another standard branch only to find the very same situation. I was then referred to the centre management for assistance and I was told to ask security office within the centre if they have one. Luckily I was given an old broken wheel chair to use, I did not have any choice but to us it.it is about time standard bank management wake up and smell the coffee because they are losing more clients because of poor customer service, to make the matters worse last year November my house was damage by hail storm and I put a claim through standard bank for their assistance ,they did sent some assessor to my house and I got a replay this year at the end of January only to be told that my roof was licking because the hail broke the cement on the edges on the roofing tiles and I am liable to fix it myself, In another words my claim was rejected because some manager said to me I did not maintain my roof.my house is only four years old and roof is still new. I am paying an expensive insurance through standard bank only to be told that I don't have a claim and what about the money that I am paying every month, to tell you the truth standard bank services sucks that is why I closed my cheque account with them and went to another institution. I hate that bank big time the only thing that is holding me it is because that I am paying my car and house through them. The most common causes for a lack of heating are a bad door switch, a loose connection on the magnetron, a bad magnetron, bad connection on the control circuit board, a bad relay on the board, bad high voltage diode, or bad high voltage transformer. GE microwaves come with a mini service manual inside, which is very helpful. Since it's only 2 years old, the magnetron would still be covered under warranty, but you would have to pay labor and service call charges. Unfortunately, its not just Sharp. Many small appliance manufacturers are designing their products with an obsolete date as early as the warranty runs out. I see this all the time....even on very expensive items. For many mfgs, its cheaper to keep the manufacturing lines churning than to build an appliance to last....say 10 years. I do hope your experience with the new microwave is much better...and longer lasting. M

If it is still under warrenty, do not have anyone touch it as it will then be nul and void. There will be 2 problem now with the microwave. The initial bang is one and the door comming off is the second. Making a long story short, replacing the microwave would be the best bet as the spares and labour and down time will not be viable. So try for that warrenty.

hi, where did you buy this product from, this is a help site where people who have problems with equipment they have bought want help, we dont actually sell anything we have no catalogue or shop.
the way this site works is you post your problem in the forum for the experts to see and then one of them will pick your problem and offer you some help and guidance on solving your problem.
the experts dont work for the site we just sign into the site to offer our advice and guidance, we dont actually sell anything.
so the only help this site can off you is if you tell us the company you brought this product from then we can pass on a complaint saying that you have spoken to us and you are not happy with the product and would like a replacement or refund. But without you telling us the company involved we cant do anything.
If the company passed you onto this site to make a complaint then i need to warn you that it sounds like they are trying to fob you off and pass you onto someone else who cant really do anything for you,
say your car broke down and you didnt know the cause i could then help you find the cause and tell you what you need to do to solve your problem, or if your washing machine has an error code then i can help you find and solve the problem.
But as for getting a refund this is not possible from this site as we do not sell or endorse any products we only offer help and advice to people who have a technical or fault problem with a product and as you want a refund then all you have to do is contact the company that sold you the product.
if you would like me to contact the company for you and pass a complaint on then your going to need to give me the companies name and details and also your details so as they can contact you to resolve any problem you have
im sorry i cant give you a refund but if you look at our site we dont actually sell anything we only help you solve any problems you may have with a product, now i know you have a problem with a product but we cant offer you any refund as we never sold you anything and we never sell anybody anything, so i that respect i cant help you
but if the company told you to contact us for a refund then this is something different and something we could take up as this is something they shouldnt do and they would be breaking the law by passing this site off as the site that sold you something.
