Question about Canon Office Equipment & Supplies
I was using it as a copier and it got an error but when that was sorted it wouldn't stop flashing the number of copies left and E. I have used the red reset button to no avail. Left it un plugged for well over a week but it still wont clear and can't be used till it does. I can't find a real reset button on it but can you help please?
Will the ink cartridges move to the center?
If so take them out and unplug the machine for 30 minutes.
Plug it back in.
Hopefully this will reset it to thinking it is a new machine.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I already answered this at some other place here - but just to make sure the word gets out there:
There is a little special (white) gear on the outer left side of the drumkit - a little bit below where the toner sits. That gear joins with toner assembly - and you can rotate it counterclockwise all the way back. This should reset the drum counter - worked for me!
I hope it also does the trick for you ;-)

SOURCE: SC550 Error. Ricoh MP
That error code refers to the FUSING WEB END.
First of all you must see if the fusing web is end.
If the error occurs before the web ended you have to upgrade your firmware. There is a release firmware that corrects this symptom.

Remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and connect the Printer to be detected and installed. Check printer properties to see the ink levels.
Use head cleaning before a test is taken . It is possible that the head is not reacting to the need of the command , can be an issue with ink drying , can also be poor ink cartridge contacts
