SOURCE: bios reset
As another option you could try resetting the jumper. Some boards save the password regardless unless the reset the BIOS by using the resetting jumper. Refer to the motherboard's manual for further information on how to do this.
SOURCE: OVERCLOCKING
Hi, On other motherboard models of Asus, similar problem was corrected by: 1. Updating the BIOS; 2. Actually overclocking the FSB to slightly higher than default (say 170 or 175 from 166, 140 to 150 from 133); 3. Slightly increasing the default processor voltage supply by increments of 0.05; 4. Replacing the 3.0 volts Lithium battery; 5. Replacing the memory to next higher speed; Never had problems like this with MSI, ECS or Intel boards. Hope this be of some idea/help. Post back how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards.

what does it say besides the f1 and f2...there is soemthing stopping the computer from booting and it should say something like...cmos reset or the date and time are not set or keyboard error or something to that effect. try dusting out the laptop with a low psi air compressor or can of air and see if that helps..

Be sure all the cords are properly connected, some power supplies have a switch in the back, turn it on.

Try taken the bios battery out for about 30 secs, replace it and then reboot, after post press F8 untill you have a screen pop up with a safe mode option use the arrows keys to navigate to safe mode and press enter. In safe mode goto my conputer c:drive(boot drive) windows. In the windows folder look for a file called prefetch, delete all it contents. Exit out of everything and restart the pc. If same thing happens post back.
