1.Press the Windows logo key + X.
2.Select Device Manager from the list.
3.Click the little arrow next to Human Interface Devices to expand the list.
4.Click the touch screen driver (in my case, NextWindow Voltron Touch Screen).
5.Right-click, and select Disable from the list.
6.Click Yes on the dialog box that asks if you are sure you want to disable the touch screen driver.
7.Restart your computer
When you want your touch screen to work again, follow the process above, EXCEPT when right-clicking the touch screen driver, select Enable

It could be overheating. That will cause problems such as freezing and crashing. Make sure that there is airflow from the exhaust.

If it is still in Warranty get in touch with your supplier. If not try the maker's Home website

Have you been on to the Sony website to find drivers for these components? It's possible that Sony haven't got drivers for Win8 yet. Did you run the Windows upgrade preparation tool before upgrading?

The pad has slipped.. open KB and reset.

Try to reseat the space bar again.
