Ask Yahoo. They know why your account was deactivated in the first place. Perhaps they even can tell you never can activate it again.

How to get your account back after it has been de-actived?

Hi,

If you still remember the username and password of the account, try logging in again and it will ask you to activate it. You probably will loose all the emails though.

if so, then easy to activate by following the instruction.

If you have get the message that "your password has been changed"
then it is a perfect hacking.

do:

This account has been disabled or discontinued

If you dont use it for more than 3 months it wil be disabled and you will lose any email and contacts stored in that account. If no one else has taken the same address you can sign up with that one again.
If a yahoo mail ID is inactive for very long period (i heard that if it is inactive for minimum 3 months) it will be automatically de-activated by yahoo. You can try register your same ID again ... (one tip to keep a yahoo ID active: try signing up for newsletters - it will keep your ID alive )
