Question about ASUS ATI RADEON HD 5450PCI EXPRESS21DDR3 EAH5450 SILENTDI1GD3 Video Card
It cloned with analog (vga)cable from the dvi exit (with a connector)but now identifies my tv as philips ftv and wont send a signal
This doesn't sound like a problem with the video card. More like the television settings.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

The VGA cable is strictly just for video so the sound is received thru an analogue (RCA) cable. HDMI is an combined digital link but the video card delivers only the video - you must tell the tv from where to get the sound (use the analogue connection already in place) This is done in the menu.
