Green light on control board flashes whilst jogging then stays on when E1 error occurs
SOURCE: Error Code E1
I had the same error message E1 at 10 seconds according to the LCD display on an older Treadclimber TC1000. I called Bowflex 1-800-792-6784 and first thing they told me was to check the drive sensor on the back left corner of machine. It is two wires connected by 2 white connectors that snap together. The end of the sensor has a rubber cap that is supposed to be approximately 1/8 inch from the drive pulley. The rubber cap plugs into a small hole within the "firewall" of the drive pulley, but the end of the cap does not actually touch anything. They can email you a picture of it. If it ever gets knocked loose, the machine will register this e1 error, in some cases- hope this helps.
SOURCE: Treadmill runs then stops. E1 error and sometimes works fine.
Yes if speed sensor is too far from magnet it will not pick up belt movement. This confuses the computer and as a safety precaution it shuts the machine off. Find speed sensor and check for proper alighment with magnet.

Trimline treadmill starts up then code E2 comes up, and the display shuts down.
Any ideas???

my lifespan treadmill has an error code e1
SOURCE: Treadmill cuts out after 10 seconds and gives an E1 message.
Your problem might be that a magnet has fallen out of place. Here's an illustrated guide that should make fixing it easy: http://fixmytreadmill.blogspot.com/2010/10/how-to-fix-treadmill-e1-error.html
Good luck.
