Question about Braun Syncro 7680 Electric Shaver
The display is supposed to count the number of seconds/minutes of your shave when the shaver is turned on. However, when I turn on my shaver, the display doesn't count. It just keeps showing the charge level and "TEST". I can run the demo, as well as demo 2, but when I press the button to stop it, the last info shown in the demo is displayed. The shaver had gone into deep discharge due to a switch problem. I replaced the switch and it worked fine after that, except for this weird display problem. IS there some technique to "reset" the processor?

It's actually easier than it looks. On the bottom of the shaver is the charging port. That black plastic piece surrounding it can be pried off. Do it carefully, so you don't dent/scratch the casing. Once removed, the side pieces easily remove. You'll now see screws holding the body together. Have at it. :-)

The circuit board on the shaver may have become faulty. One thing you can try is to fully charge the shaver first, directly connected to the outlet, and then try using the cleaning base. Also, be sure that the fluid level is sufficient. Lastly, you may be able to buy a used but working condition cleaning station off of eBay. New replacements are a bit costly.

Most electric shavers are dry, meaning that you don't need
any gel or a shaving cream in order to shave although there are some unique wet
electric shavers' models on the market.
