Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: I have a little chief 9800 top load smoker and

The #4 Little Chief element is 7 inches and more importantly is 250 watts, this is the correct wattage for ALL Little Chief Smokers newer than about 15 - 20 years old.
The #5 Little Chief element is 8.5 inches and is also 250W but is for newer models before 2006.
Look at www.smokehouseproducts.com for clarification & best fit.
For very, very old models (20+) there is a ceramic disk (175W) that heats the chip pan and is hard to find and expensive, a person would be better off finding a new one on sale at the big box boys store

SOURCE: My Masterbuilt electric smoker stopped heating will cooking

I just bought a new Masterbuilt Smoker by default two weeks ago I borrowed a friend’s to smoke about 30lb. of Salmon to then can. Ran the smoker every day for three day. ON my last batch the heating element would not work. Talk about Frustrated! The Smoker was only 2 yrs. old.

Knowing I borrowed I felt I had to replace. So online to Cabelas and I ordered my buddy a new smoker and had it shipped. I then found this website... GOT TO LOVE the internet. I saw many other people had the same problem. Found an Answer...

The Problem was one of the connector to the heating element was poor quality and if you don't clean your smoker on a regular basis. The heat and moister caused the small copper connector to corrode and the wire to come loose. I took a wood chisel and cut off all the rivets on the back. I was then able to pull the back off with no damage and access the small box in the lower back. I found the connector. Went to the hardware store and bought a replacement for .75 cents. A pair of wire crimpers and the problem was fixed. I also bought ½ inch Sheet metal screws to secure the back it was good as new. So I returned the smoker to my buddy and kept the new one. When it arrived I saw Masterbuilt has since fixed the problem and provided an access panel to the element and connectors.

SOURCE: smoker will not heat. do

Most Likely your having the same problem I keep coming across , The female connector where the heating element plugs in has either come off or has burned off do to inadequate gauge wire at the connection , you will have to remove all the factory rivets on the back and replace this connection then replace the back using appropriate sized screws to replace the back , you can email me at stevennwendy09@comcast.net if you need further instructions , I have fixed 6 of these with the same problem

Need a manual for Master Forge Smoker Model 32930

I'll save you the trouble. The master forge web site sends you to sears parts. Sears parts does not recognize this model number. This is another example of how Lowes sells mass produces products with little or no customer support. This item was for sale online but is no longer. Online sales is how many box stores remove items from stock that are either out of production or no longer being purchased by them.

Need a heating Element for a Master Build Digital Smokehouse Model# 20070106 Serial# GA040923

Since the - - -holes @ Masterbuilt told me they don't sell them, and after extensive seraches on the net, I found a company that is making me one for $37.50 plus shipping. (As of August 31, 2011)
Contact: david@hhelectricmfg.com and tell him you want to order a heating element identical to one he is making for Lelys. (The mountting plate may be a little different, but all you'll have to do is drill new holes in the new mounting plate.

Good luck!

My heating element is not working. How can I get a replacement.

I experienced the same problem. My heating element was not working. After a Continuity Test, the Heating Coil was dead and needs replacement. I asked Masterbuilt if any heating coil replacement parts were available. They said "no", but they could offer a discounted sale on a new Smoker for about $175.00. I am still looking. A local appliance dealer said the internet was the most likely place to find one. After looking on the internet, I can't seem to find one yet. If you know of any, please let me know. Call (616) 772-1332 and ask for Bob. Thanks
