What Should I Need To Do If I Want To Start A Home Based Business?

As with any other small business enterprise, a home-based business should have proper zoning approval and a business license. For home-based businesses, zoning is especially important. Please check with the town or county clerk to find out the zoning laws for a specific area.

How do you unlock the sim pin?

You don't. It's an IDEN based phone. Unlocking it won't do you any good at all since it'll only work on IDEN networks.

IDEN is a low freq network designed mainly for business people since it has push to talk. It can't work with any other company at all

System is busy message when hitting talk

At the main base unit, unplug the power in line for a minute. That fixed mine. It has happened twice...don't know why.

I have a panasonic cordless phone, model kx-tga820. for some reason both handsets now say that it is busy when i push the talk button. Our other phones are ok. Why?

If you get busy tone in your Panasonic KX-TGA820 cordless phone, it may be due to any one of the following reasons:

1)The called handset is in use.

2)The handset you are calling is too far from the base unit.
Check whether the base unit is not so far from the handset

3)There is no handset registered to the base unit matching the extension number you entered.
Try to re-register the handset to the base unit again, To know details regarding registering and re-registering, please refer page 38 of the manual, which you can download from the link given below

4)Other units are in use and the system is busy. Try again later.
Try to check whether the other units are not using your base unit

You can download manual for your phone from the following link for reference

Panasonic KX TG9331 no link to base Even standing next to the base, I cannot answer the call. Sometimes repeated pressing of the talk button lets me talk. Also, switching to speaker phone sometimes drops...

Sounds like a defective handset or base unit. Unplug the base unit from power and the telephone jack. Leave unplugged for 1 minute, this sometimes helps the phone to reset from a problem. Unplug the battery from the handset and plug back in after a minute also to help reset. Place your handset in the base unit for about 1 minute to allow the handset to link up with the base unit. If this doesn't work you may have a defective phone. Contact Panasonic support for further information if this does not work.

Model # TGA931T

Try to unplug all power cords, this will reset the phones.
Try to swap the two phones.
If you still cannot fix it , then one of the phones is faulty.

I finally find a way to stop this problem from occuring : never leave your phone on the charger with the battery isnt empty !

I know this sucks because what best place to put your phone at night than its base. But try it and it will work (unless your battery is already damaged). In the morning when i go to work, I charge it for 8 hours, then when I come back, I take it off the charge until next morning.

I used to put it on the charge for all night and all day until I read an interesintg post :

Since I have been doing this, I didnt get any more problems with my phone.

Excalibur SSB base radio will work fine one day,not the next.

Might be worth checking the microphone cable on the transceiver, specially near the plug, or the push to talk switch. I saw this umpteen years ago with a CB that was intermittent.

High voltage capacitors are a bit hard to find but look on the net for vintage radio suppliers. While you have the tube radio open, look for resistors that gone high, this can put higher voltages than design on the caps and of course can quickly wreck tubes that were otherwise OK.

Base set fine - additional handsets dont work

The additional handset and the base need to "pair" first. Put the handset in the base cradle till you see the red light blinking. That's when they are paired.

Static and short range on handsets when base unit is cold This is a strange one: the base unit of my cordless phone (AT&T EP5632) has become very temperature sensitive in the last few months. The phone is about 3 years old, and when the weather is warm, i.e., room temperatures over about 75 degrees F, it works ok, but when the weather is cold, i.e., room temperature below 70, there is a lot of static on the line when using either handset. This static slowly disappears if the phone is used for a few minutes and after a 5-10 minute phone call, the line is clear and the range is good. The speakerphone on the base unit works fine all the time (perfectly clear), so it is not a problem with the line. The Bluetooth connection works pretty well too, though it does have a little of the same static sounds, just not so much as to be unusable like the handsets are in the morning. The handsets also have been suffering from a significantly reduced range over the last few months: they used to work across the yard in another building, but now they need to be 10 feet away to get a dial tone and at night they loose the connection to the base unit when on the charger upstairs. I have tried moving the base to another room, but this did not help, and in fact this seemed to make it worse for a while because the unit cooled off while it was unplugged. Any ideas how to fix this would be welcome. Since it's out of warranty and I'd even be willing to take it apart and resolder things if needed, but I can't seem to find any tech literature on the unit. Thanks so much for any help you can provide!
